Here in the northern part of Georgia my long term average was 22. I averaged 16 towing the RV. I've never gotten so low as 18 without towing, so I'm not sure what the difference is there. I do find that the Eco-d loves quality diesel. I've had great luck with shell, chevron and BP fuels. Racetrack fuel has given my Eco-d horrible mileage (I don't buy their fuel any longer unless absolutely necessary). I certainly get better mileage in the warmer months than the winter and that very well may be the variation in winter fuel vs summer fuel. For reference the Jeep has 37's and a 4".
I’m on 37’s with a lift and drive 90% city, very rarely on the highway. When temps are over 100 degrees in the summer, I get abismal mileage. During our moderate winters such as now, I get slightly better mileage. When I’m all free way like you described, I’m 22-24mpg all day long.

looking to run 37 K02 tires, not sure what lift yet, 2.5" Clayton or Mopar 2". Main thing is the gearing correct for factory like power or better. Thoughts? I have read a thread but was short and a couple of years ago. I read that the 3.73 are okay but laggy on power. Mostly mall crawler. Have dually for towing. might do some very light trails. No crawling. no overland.
For the cost involved-- do it once, 4.56!!!

I'm going to politely disagree. When it comes to the 3.6, yes, all day long but not with the diesel. If I were to re-gear I would go 4:10's only, and for a multitude of reasons. The single only reason I would go above that is if I were rocking 40"s.

I recently purchased my second Glad diesel and with it's currently stock 31" sport tires, the Glad is geared much too low. I would never try to return the gearing back to the ratio of the stock with 31"s.

I have 315 on it now seems like it needs a little more gear. Was thinking 4.10

@Jefe1018 Bit late to the conversation but my Fuelly data is below for reference. My city vs highway mix is usually around 50/50 excluding trips. 15-20% of my highway miles are weighted down towing my camper which is around 5k loaded and not aerodynamic, normally 15mpg +/- while towing.

My Glad is a Sport S with 1.5 leveling spacers in the front and .75 in the rear riding on 285/70-17 KO2s, so pretty close to stock. I have a fairly heavy foot off the line and typically stay in the 70-75 mph range on the highway as it chugs along nicely at that speed and passively regens very well at 70+.
