Brand New 2023 Rubicon Ecodiesel want to run 37 need to regear to 4.11 or 4.56?

Are you new to the forum or just new to 37's ? Either way, welcome. 37's in combination with the Diesel is just fine, no need to regear. No it does not lag... make sure you are hearing from people 1st who own the diesel and 2nd , that are running 37's without a regear. There is more that you can probably read in a night about the diesel/37's/regearing on this forum.

Every member that I have had contact with that actually have a diesel on 37's are more than satisfied without regearing, myself included.

I am new to the forum, just bought another Jeep after 8 years of not having a Jeep. Thanks

Does anyone with stock gears track mpg? Here is my Fuelly data over over nearly 24,000 miles. Keep in mind 90% of my driving is short commutes and city driving. I had someone tell me my numbers were misleading and not possible, not sure how hand calculations for 24,000 miles, 111 fill ups and over a two year period are completely irrelevant to reality.

What type of fuel ? What size tires... man/auto ? there's pertinent information missing

Wow... not sure how you got a hint of sarcasm... maybe because you are already defensive per your statement:
"I had someone tell me my numbers were misleading and not possible"... BUT
Your allowed to FEEL however you want and safe places are all the rage right now.... Hopefully you can explain the "hint" you got , that way I can be more sensitive to your feelings in the future.

But I promise, there was...
NO SARCASM MEANT... it was a legit question since you were talking about gas mileage...

For example, I keep a mid 20's average... 20-23 mpg. But that doesn't mean much unless you have the rest of the vehicles information along with my driving habits. Right ?

Lol it was a joke! And you are absolutely correct there. We need the full picture… adding to your point the guy had one of those campers on his jeep, not a rack, a full fledged camper with living quarters. I was like how in the world would you even????

I track mine, but not in detail as your's.
Bone stock '22 JTRD. In town was between 22 to 24 mpg. Trip was between 28 to 30 mpg.
After the 4" lift and 37" tines. In town, between 17 to 19 mpg. Trip between 24 to 26 mpg. I live in the Monongahela River valley with lots of short steep hills.

I purchased Xtreme Rubicon takeoffs, they look great. Ride is a little harsher and more road noise than the Falken 285 from factory. No lift currently. I think I might stay where I am, not thinking I want more road noise than these. running 38 lbs in each tire. What is everyone else running? I would not have thought K02 would be that much louder.

It is called Fuelly, keeps track of everything as long as you put it in. It’s like $8 a year for the subscription to premium services.

looking to run 37 K02 tires, not sure what lift yet, 2.5" Clayton or Mopar 2". Main thing is the gearing correct for factory like power or better. Thoughts? I have read a thread but was short and a couple of years ago. I read that the 3.73 are okay but laggy on power. Mostly mall crawler. Have dually for towing. might do some very light trails. No crawling. no overland.

Clayton Offroad vs Mopar-- not even in the same league. CO all day long-- I'm running 37" BFG KO2s on the CO Overland Plus lift with Falcon adj 3.3s. I had the Mopar lift on a previous JK-- there are way better lifts... I just ordered Revolution 4.56 gears, for the cost, 4.10s not worth it

Here in the northern part of Georgia my long term average was 22. I averaged 16 towing the RV. I've never gotten so low as 18 without towing, so I'm not sure what the difference is there. I do find that the Eco-d loves quality diesel. I've had great luck with shell, chevron and BP fuels. Racetrack fuel has given my Eco-d horrible mileage (I don't buy their fuel any longer unless absolutely necessary). I certainly get better mileage in the warmer months than the winter and that very well may be the variation in winter fuel vs summer fuel. For reference the Jeep has 37's and a 4".
