I generally agree with all the above sentiments because they are just selling something, i.e. clickbait; HOWEVER, I actually do subscribe to their channel because of Chris & Bec.

For those that may not have watched them in a while, about a year ago they hired a full time mechanic to maintain their vehicles and do some builds for hire to help generate income. Chris really knows his stuff and the videos he is in, which aren't typically the ones that the algorithm will throw into your feed, are really good. Bec is in the videos with him typically and she is a real wheeler (not a total poser like the main gal), knows how to work on vehicles AND is a phenomenal welder. Oh yeah...she's also not hard to look at either. He's doing a build series on his rig and they have a build series on Bec's LJ.

Honestly though, I stopped watching them years ago because they came off kinda douch-ey, like frat boy stuff. I still don't watch the Kevin and Brittany videos, but the Chris & Bec ones are worth the time.

Same reason people post about the new ZR2 and Ranger.... They are competing vehicles and it is interesting to see what the competition is making, which inevitably pushes Jeep to make better products. The title was pretty straight forward, if you don't want to read it, you don't have to

As for the OP - I'm not gonna comment too harshly on a Bronco with a leaky top.

My 2016 JK leaked through the doors and through the rear glass.

My 2022 Gladiator has a leaky back window with 7,071 miles on the clock - and Gladiator back windows have been leaking since they first started building them and they can't seem to correct it at the plant...

my thoughts exactly, they push higher prices products (not necessarily higher end) because that’s who they’re sponsored by. I’m not that type of guy. I follow Prodigal Overland because I came from the WK2 format prior to the Gladiator. He’s still on a factory air suspension setup with some extra bells and whistles and a little larger tire than stock. No frills at all, and I can appreciate that more than a person who says buy this because it’s the best.

So when I see a Gladiator on tons and 40s, I generally skip to the next video. Realistic? Yes, I can do that to my rig today with my own hands and tools. But I’m not going to, because I’m not interested in it. Nothing against guys who do it, just ain’t me. That’s the joys of owning a Jeep, everyone’s different.
I don't mind the 'rich' YouTubers but I don't always watch them as frequently, either. Everyone is at a place in their life and did something to get the money I reckon.

Case in point - I enjoy watching the places Trail Recon goes and taking notes for future trips - but I'll never have $100K to buy a new 392 Wrangler and another $60K to buy a camper trailer to drag through the desert behind it - so I get a little lost when they whip out the Kitchen Aid hand mixer to bake a cake trail side (and I am not exaggerating - it was in a recent video).

But - he is in the entertainment business now and I'm in the do what my boss says business so....

Shit, that's super annoying. I haven't had any issues *yet*. If the back windows leak and they can't fix the issue I think I'd rather not have the rear window. I almost never open the window since it's not electric and it's inconvenient. When I do open the rear window it rattles from the JL sub underneath it. I know some people love it but it's a tiny window that I could do without if they are having issues.

...Jeep definitely has their fair share of issues. I just thought it was interesting that the roof leaked in light rain on a brand new vehicle. Imagine going through a high pressure car wash.
Gladiators had roof leaks before the Bronco Raptor.

So the funny part is - it doesn't even leak through the slider. It leaks through the main glass above the slider. I stuffed $8 worth of EPDM weather strip into the top of the window which I think may have stopped it. Didn't feel like deal with the dealer right now.

Yeah, The Jeep Gladiators have had their share of issues as well. I love mine and lucked out on having 70,000 of issue free miles for the most part. My neighbors on the other hand is probably gonna need a new Transmission at 8200 miles in on his $66,000 Rubicon.
what was the issue with the transmission? I have an issue between 3rd and 4th gear. I've opened a case with Jeep and just trying to have as much info as possible.

Jeep replaced my back glass through warranty. Take it in and let them fix it.

I'm not totally sure and I'm not sure if he knows either. He took it in, they had it for about 4 days and came back and said they were replacing the transmission. His went into second gear and started to rev the RPms up and down between 3,000 and 5,000 and would not go out of second even when he tried to manual shift it. He parked it and tried to drive it again and it went into limp mode and wouldn't go into gear after that.

Oh I'm not doubting they'll fix it - I'm just too close to a trip I'm taking and I don't want to start problems before then LOL.

I'll worry about it when we return.
