As I was driving around this cool Ohio morning with my doors off I passed a Bronco with its top down. I have seen a handful of Broncos in my area, only a couple with the top open but NEVER with the doors off. I don't get it. I take mine off as much as possible, it's one of the reasons I love my Gladiator so much. Has anyone actually seen a Bronco with their doors off besides YouTube?

Also living in Ohio, I have only seen one once with the doors off, and it had a bikini style cover on the top.

I've seen a couple here in NJ. On the other hand, I have yet to take the doors off my JT or my JL. I've dropped the doors on both my old JKs but it's not really my thing anymore.

We got about 20 if them riding around my area of Charlotte/Kannapolis NC and I see them with tops and doors off all the time. At least 4 or 5 of them regularly have the tops and doors off and they look good as well. With that said I've only had my doors off twice in 2-1/2 yrs of ownership and only had the top all the way off maybe 6 times in that same amount of time. I used to regularly run with doors and top off in the JKU, went 2 months straight like that.

Now it's more of hassle and I'll just remove the freedom panels if I want a little air and I'm good with that. I still wonder why people in this forum want to find a reason to hate on the Bronco.

I saw a group of them not only with their doors off but actually off-roading

See them occasionally here in Queens and Long Island.
I might be in a small minority here, but I actually think it looks pretty cool without the roof and doors off. If I wasn't so gaga over how a Gobi Mojave looked, I'd definitely consider it as an option. I like the fact that there are other trucks out there that are convertibles. If Ford made a convertible option for the F-150 Raptor, I would have really been faced with a much tougher decision.

Yeah, like a couple of people above said... weird obsession/insecurity with Broncos I've noticed here... more subtle than Ford/Chevy and Yankees/RedSox rivalries... which makes it even seem even more petty.

In my neck of the woods (Metro Denver).... I almost never see JT's with doors off in daily life. However, it could be that Denver is .... let's say lax on crime and gives hugs instead.

There’s a super nice black four door Bronco locally that already looks to have some upgrades, I see him often with tube doors and a bimini top.

If I didn’t use my bed I would totally consider a Bronco, I haven’t driven one but I think they look great.

Not Bronco obsessed just an observation. I think the Broncos are nice and the closest competion to Jeeps so I want them to succeed and maybe push Jeep to quit nickle and diming for every little option. But after never seeing people enjoy the open air with them (at least in my area) I got to thinking maybe they don't appeal to the same customers as Jeep as I had thought

Not really anything to it. As Broncos become more common in the wild, you'll see more with doors off. Tons of Jeeps out there, so plenty to see stripped down.

I had my JK for 6 years and took the doors off less than a handful of times. To be honest when I stepped up to my JT, it was mostly because it had the most back seat space, the highest towing capacity, the best looks, and lots of parts to choose from. The doors and removable roof weren't really big deals. Nice to have the option, but I doubt I use either much at all.

I see many of them with doors off, but it's probably cause I live on a lake.

Same for Jeeps. Lots of tops down, doors off.

Ironic timing - I saw only the second Bronco yesterday with doors off (and the first was several months ago).

It was raining, they had the front doors removed and the back doors still attached. They had the soft top up though so not getting soaked. I was tempted to wave, and if I was in my Jeep I probably would have.
