Did you use your stock Mojave skid with that bumper?

Did you just toss the factory fogs, or are you planning on integrating those?
Yes I was able to retain the facotory Mojave skid plate. I plan on going with aftermarket lighting up front as this bumper doesn't have provisions for the factory lighting.

Installed the APEX Steering Booster yesterday and then finished installing the Barnes 4wd bumper and SuperWinch SX.

Just had the Mojave regeared to 5.13 and added an Adams 1350 front driveshaft today. I had Rebel Off-Road in Orange County do the work. When I got home I had a present on the driveway. My Barnes 4WD Prichett Canyon front bumper arrived. Time to get it painted and installed and add my SuperWinch SX10000 which has just been sitting in the garage.

Oh hah, I didn't mean mirror image like opposite direction, I meant what you see from the windshield mounted mirror.
Haha....My view is about 70% blocked. I can see the lower portion of the rear window and out past the tailgate.

I decided to paint the bumper with Rustoleum Textured Satin Black most because I didn't want to wait till Tuesday for Powdercoating plus Rustoleum is easy to touch up after Off-Roading.
Your bumper came out great. I stopped getting stuff powder coated ages ago and now I paint everything that will scrape rocks. I totally agree with you. It's just so much easier to touch up and you only have to worry about the area that scraped.

Your Mojave looks like my Rubicon's big brother.
Hydro blue for the win!

It will be interesting to see how the shocks handle the Mojave Fox added weight of the 40s. You may want to get them sent out for tuning.

what are your thoughts on the apex steering booster kit?
Install wasn't too bad. Instructions said it will be a 4-5 hour job. My friend and I had it installed in about 3 hours. I set the pressure to 1800psi (1500-2000 is considered safe).

So far I notice zero difference which is a good thing because I didn't have any issues with daily driving. I was worried it might make the steering feel to sensitive but thats not the case. I bought it to help turn the 40's on trails when aired down. I haven't tested that out yet but I will report back my impressions after a rock crawling trip.

Thats good to hear. I’m looking to do the same, so after you get it back on the trails, I’d like to hear your thoughts on that too.

We will probably have similar set ups once mine is finished. I’m trying to decide if I want to wait for custom built shocks or modify the Fox 2.5 to fit the Mojave

A few pictures of the new 2.5 Fox Performance Elite Resevoir DSC shocks. Love the adjustabilty of these shocks and didn't sacrifice any performace from the Mojave Shocks minus the internal bypass feature. I had to drill out the bushings on the front shocks only because the Mojave Gladiator uses M14 bolts and everything is designed for the JL/JT which uses M12 bolts for the front shocks.

Did you drill out both the top and bottom bushings of the front shocks? If so, did you have any trouble with the bottom bushing spinning?

Yes I had to drill the metal sleeves inside the bushings out larger on top and bottom. I thought it would be easy and it was a huge pain in the butt. The heat created from drilling melted the bushings a little. It was a slow and frustrating process for me. I didn't run into a spinning issue, just a heat issue.

My rack mount is from Fishbone Off-Road and is called thier "Tackle" rack 1/2 height. I bought it through Quadratec on a sale before Christmas. It was one of the first modifications I added.

How do you like the Fishbone? Heard some negative things about the loc washers etc but there is bad stuff about EVERYTHING. I think it looks pretty great. I called and they said it only weighs 97lbs - does that seem accurate?
