Here's a ruff draft... I haven't cleaned it all the way up yet (remove all the debris from the supports ) the Easter egg jeep looks like it's blowing smoke off the tires lol.

But the ASA filament looks really great.

The lens is the best I've done so far, but the one printing at the moment I believe will turn out much better.

Let me know what you think

Looking good! Think there will be any problems with the lens yellowing from UV? What about keeping water out?

Lens should be fine, I'm using poly carbonate.

Keeping water out I plan on gluing it in with silicone so I think it will be good....

I redesigned the entire thing today...
New prints should be a lot cleaner and a lot better fit of the lens

I don't want to know how much time (and money) you have put in to this. Also, a smoked lens would be nice :D

I'd have to see it on the rig, but I think it needs more surface area for the lighted portion.
But I could be wrong.

Looking good. Have you tried the lighting? You mentioned the reverse and brake on at the same time and being worried about the color.

I haven't tried it in the new configuration yet.... I'll try it soon... I really wanted to focus on the redesign to clean up my cad so everything would be easier to modify.

My next step will be to put a divider under the difusser....

If that don't work then I'll have to make a divider with two separate diffusers.

I have a long way to go before this is production ready... I still have to work on the wiring schematic so that the same LEDs are dim until push the brakes.... I will need to use a resistor, diode, or voltage regulator to use 10.5 volts for running lights and when ever I push brakes or blinkers, it give the full 12 volts.... Then I have to make sure the 12 volts doesn't back feed... So I'll have to use a 1 way transistor.

Shouldn't be too hard... But just got to get it all figured out.

Here's what the cad looks like now

Corners are looking a lot better. I would suggest moving the silhouette further up the angle, it appears the bumper is touching the bottom.

Hopefully the lights work out and the reverse doesn’t need to be a separate (detached) lens.

I kind of liked that the bumper was hitting, but I might move the silhouette up to were it is trying to crawl up the full vertical...

We will see what happens... Maybe with the divider under the lens it will work okay... Maybe I can dim the red even more when the whites come on....

Maybe I'm over thinking it and everything will be just fine ....

Is there room for two red LED strips?
If so, power one at 10.5V for running lamps, and the second gets full voltage for brakes & signal.

I've seen 3 wire to 2 wire setups on Amazon, designed to do what you want.

I might not know what I'm talking about... but I would think there would be sheets of lens material that would be easier to cut than to 3d print... would lenticular sheet work or could there be something similar?
