Alright finally got the measurements right, threw it in the oven for a few minutes then placed her on the light.... Works great!

This is just a test piece and isn't the same filament that I'll be using... Therefore it isn't very transparent...

Also the light body is just a test piece...

here's a few pics of the progress.

Looking good. A tinted gray lens would look great as an option. Not opposed to the white lens and will wait to see how it comes together.

The texture/transparency gives a great detail. These are gonna look amazing. Can’t wait to see the images with the lights powered up.

Annnnnnnd Houston we have a problem.......

Even though the lights are very bright.... They're not bright outside....

I'm going to print a red lens, and try that...

Also going to try adding more LEDs...

Red filament will be here tomorrow.... Should be able to test tomorrow or Tuesday

Okay so the white LEDs over power the red by a lot....

This tells me that white LEDs with red lens will probably be the best solution.....

But if the red was bright enough I wouldn't have had to worry about them being pink with reverse on with how much the white drowns the red out

Here's some pictures

All these have red and white on at the same time with same voltage..

First pic is low voltage
Second pic is medium voltage
And third pic is max voltage.

What do you think about going with the white LED/red lens, but adding another small light, inside the perimeter, that is a dedicated reverse-only light? Kind of like a mash-up of the first one you made and this latest masterpiece. Great work, can't wait to get a pair of whatever you finally end up with!

Yes I have also thought about this. I'll probably give it a shot after I see how bright white LEDs are with the red lens... If everything seems good I'll divide it and have reverse with a clear lens...

So I test fitted the new version yesterday.... I don't like it at all.. might even use the word hate it lol

They look huge on it, and for some reason on the sides at the bottom the lights bulge out.... Turns out the gladiator bulges out at the bottom on the side... Don't know how I never noticed this but now I see it with my current lights I have on too.

I'm doing a complete redesign. I need to shorten the tail lights height and make it longer.

Also the bottom angle is way off.

I'll post a picture but I really don't want to... It makes me like my first version way better....
