Im in the final stages of installing a 4.5” TF lift kit. Replacing all control arms. I’m down to the two front uppers and the first will not align on the frame. Can’t get the bolt through. Anyone have any ideas how I can get this lined up? Thanks

If you are doing this on jack stands, get the wheels back on the ground and then have one person rock the wheels (forward or backwards depending on which way the bolt needs to move) Hard to do with one person.
Thanks. Good idea. I’ve been doing it while on the ground but solo.

Is the differential way off center?
Agreed, if it's hanging down - it takes some effort, shifting things back and forth, sometimes.

Try placing jack under differential near pinion and raise slightly if going wrong direction place under frame and jack one halo pump at a time
I currently have the pinion supported by the Jack in order to get the right pinion angle. But that has resulted in the driver side wheel coming up off the ground. Should I lower it?

Attempted to do this, but unfortunately there was no movement.

Try dropping the pinion some. it’s going to take some playing with angles. Other option is to disconnect the lower arm. Connect the upper and then try the lower. Might be easier to wrestle with .

Just make sure the frame is supported !

Yes use only enough lift to align bolt

Disconnect the trackbar on the frame. With it connected. The axle moves in an arc. Which causes problems like you are having.
