Thanks. Good idea. I’ve been doing it while on the ground but solo.If you are doing this on jack stands, get the wheels back on the ground and then have one person rock the wheels (forward or backwards depending on which way the bolt needs to move) Hard to do with one person.
Try placing jack under differential near pinion and raise slightly if going wrong direction place under frame and jack one halo pump at a timeratchet strap
I currently have the pinion supported by the Jack in order to get the right pinion angle. But that has resulted in the driver side wheel coming up off the ground. Should I lower it?Try placing jack under differential near pinion and raise slightly if going wrong direction place under frame and jack one halo pump at a time
Attempted to do this, but unfortunately there was no movement. If you are doing this on jack stands, get the wheels back on the ground and then have one person rock the wheels (forward or backwards depending on which way the bolt needs to move) Hard to do with one person.
Yes use only enough lift to align boltI currently have the pinion supported by the Jack in order to get the right pinion angle. But that has resulted in the driver side wheel coming up off the ground. Should I lower it?
Thank you. Got it done after I lowered the pinion. Appreciate the help!
Thank you all for your responses! Pics coming soon.
