2022 with 25k miles ... Been making noises pretty much from new. I can't help but feel like they have got more consistent though... Hence being able to catch it on video.

This is a on ramp pulling my 3800lb farrier trailer ... Rattle is 4th gear ... This noise comes and goes with little consistency except for a solid pull under load going up hill .

What's your thoughts ? I've read nearly every thread on knock/pre ignition and detonation

No clue, but you’re under warranty, take it in and let them deal with it.

You did hear it though ? Seams like audio gets a bit jacked up after export.

I think so? I hear a rattling across the first half of the video. Headphones help. Almost like something is loose and the right frequency makes it noisy.

Yep, just a crazy rattle... Inconsistentsy has definitely been a big part of it... I feel like if it was the engine/valve train it would be more consistent and replicable?

Yeah it would be. This almost sounds like a cable or heat shield or something that has gotten a little loose and is flopping.

What was your speed at this moment? If I'm around 35 km/h and I give some gas, I can reproduce at-will a rattle that I think is coming from the driving shaft and/or differential. Every time, on both my Rubicon and my Mojave. And really easier to hear when the doors are off.

Probably 45 mph .. it's definitely noticeable with the doors off . It use to only make the rattle in between 3rd and 4th gear . Seams like it doesn't matter the speed or gear now

And if you cycle with the gas (release a little bit then push again and back) as soon as you hear the noise, can you play with the rattle?

Nope sorry I couldn’t hear anything but the Jeep pulling at a certain speed. If you still hear it under load like that, I suggest trying premium gas the next time you’re running under 1/8 tank. Then go pull the trailer again. Then see if you hear any difference. Good luck.

I can hear it, but it doesn't sound like detonation to me, almost like chain slap or something like a bolt came loose and is rattling against metal. Did you isolate the noise to the engine bay?

Thank you! I feel like it is engine bay but I know how sound can resonate.

I've done my share of crawling around trying to get things to rattle without any success ... Anything particular you would check ?
