Well I had a good run, about 700 miles passed since the last light but mine came back on again this morning, so back to the dealership tomorrow for the third time it is. Did they ever figure yours out?

Just out of curiosity did your Glad have an open TSB regarding the Fuel Pump Control Module?

I just turned 2700 miles on my Gladiator Rubicon and the check engine light came on. Called my local Jeep dealer and they have me coming in Monday to take a look. In the meantime, I took my Jeep to AutoZone to read the code so I could start making some sense of the situation. They hooked up their reader but their system came back with "No system information". Basically, I have a check engine light with no error code. BTW, if the gas cap is loose, the Gladiator has a "GasCap" light that comes on.

My check engine light just came on. just over 1K miles. RIDICULOUS!!! AS IF i have time to just drop everything and go to a dealership and wait around! SMFH! ALTHOUGH i did check my gas cap and its loose. i shut off jeep and turned it back on and its still on. does it literally show a gas cap icon? i have a sport S so i'm thinking i have the most cheap looking generic icons so its prob just the engine icon. @JeepCares

this should NOT be happening to anyones Jeeps! we all have expensive vehicles...this is insane!! who has this time to deal with all this nonsense! i certainly do not have free time during the day. this is soooo not cool! Jeep gets a D - for this!

Order yourself a code reader on amazon they are 30-60 bucks

I agree with dealer if not down on power keep driving

Sometimes bad gas is the problem (summer fuel has condensation in it due to humidity)

There’s not been a single model of vehicle made that didn’t have some outliers. My girlfriends 4 runner was in the shop 8 times the first two years. We are so glad it was a lease

wow! thats horrible!
yeah same here with lease! i mean i dont mean to be an ass but its such a hassle to find time to get to a dealer either wait around and/or get rental. esp. when i work 6 days a weeks. not a lot of free time on my hands so i already seeing this to be a hassle arrrrrg!!!!

buy a programmer, clear the code and see if it comes back. you would be surprised what little bs thing triggers a light, many times the code never comes back

programmers are b/t and app is on all cell phones

I have now had my Gladiator just over 1 week and today the check engine light came on. Called the dealership and they stated it would be 4-5 business days just for them to look at it. They also said that Jeep currently does not have any computer updates and if the engine was running fine I should keep driving it and bring it into the dealership in a couple of months after they get the new updates.

Has anyone else had their check engine light come on already?

What are your thoughts on the what the dealer told me?

Mine just came on and im at 1300 miles. absolutely unacceptable! @JeepCares

Well, I got 180 miles on the JT I purchased yesterday when the check engine light came on. Guess I’ll try and find an open parts store to get a code reader.
