@Clayton Off Road, was just looking at the Clayton Overland Plus 1.5 and 2.5 kits. Any idea why the 1.5 is $30 more than the 2.5? Would have thought it would be the opposite.

Jeep Gladiator 1.5" OVERLAND PLUS Lift Kit 2020+, JT, COR-3010015, $2,679
Jeep Gladiator 2.5" OVERLAND PLUS Lift Kit 2020+, JT, COR-3010025, $2,649

Jeep Gladiator 1.5" OVERLAND PLUS Lift Kit 2020+, JT | Clayton Offroad
Jeep Gladiator 2.5" OVERLAND PLUS Lift Kit 2020+, JT | Clayton Offroad

Also the 1.5 page states in the description:

"Available in both 2.5" & 3.5" lift variants, all 8 of the adjustable control arms included in our Premium kits feature our dual durometer Giiro Joint bushings and forged Johnny Joint adjusters. These narrow series forged Johnny Joint adjusters feature a greaseable and rebuildable one-piece bushing capable of up to 40 degrees of misalignment."

Why the reference to the premium kit? Web edit cut & paste mistake? Thinking the Overland Plus 1.5 comes with the maintenance free joints like the 2.5 and 3.5.

Thanks

It's the springs...

What did Clayton say after you called them and asked your questions ?
Good idea about calling. Never thought of that. They are usually so active on the forum here, I just automatically thought to ask here.

It's the springs...
Right, but in this case the shorter springs are costing a little bit more. Since the webpage made a reference to the Premium lifts, I wasn't sure if maybe the control arm joints were actually different in this kit than in the 2.5 and 3.5 Overland Plus kits or just a mistake on the webpage.

Assuming the picture is accurate, maybe they are charging slightly more for that curved rear track bar (slightly more material and labor).

🤷‍♂️

I'm thinking they haven't updated the pic on the 2.5 page. In the 2.5 description, they say:
NOTE: THIS KIT NOW FEATURES OUR BRAND NEW JT REAR TRACK BAR WITH A TIRE CLEARANCE BEND.

Same reason as a pair of shorts priced more than a full set of pants, or women’s pants costing more than men’s pants while only having half sized pockets.

Hey there!

It's actually just because those springs are the newest offering, and so they were accounting for the price increase our spring manufacturer had, while all of our other springs are still going by the previous pricing due to being ordered at an earlier date, that's all!

And yes that is just an editing mistake, fixed now, thank you!

This is correct, we are actually in the process of creating a new website, as well as going through and getting all new updated photos of products :)
