Can anyone give me their experience with the tan cloth seats and how easily they stain? I just picked mine up and the tan is so light I'm worried about them getting stained from mud or coffee or something like that. Anyone who has had theirs for a while have experience they can share. TIA

Brought my Gladiator home January 15. Stock black cloth. No issues as of yet but haven’t had many trips that involved food or drink to really test it.

I was also on the fence for cloth and leather. I decided against leather because the Katzkin leather options are way better, in my opinion. I figured I’d run the cloth seats until I was sick of them or they are ruined and then flip to Katzkin.

I have the tan cloth and just picked up my truck 3/24. Took it to the beach and have a few spots from my dog and a spot that I didn't notice when I drove off the dealership lot that need some cleaning. I'll post here when I clean them to let you know how clean up goes.

I've had my tan cloth interior since new (July, 2019), and no stains on it. I did empty two cans of Scotch Guard onto them right after I got her home though. I'm sure that helped. Plus, no kids or pets to make a mess, just me and the Wife and, we're careful when eating or drinking in the car whilst traveling.

Come to think of it, probably time to reapply the Scotch Guard, coming up on almost three years now ???

This is my plan. I wanted baseball-glove brown leather interior, which is not available on a Mojave from the factory. I figure the factory cloth is going in the garbage once my leather is installed, so it doesn't matter if it's in good shape or absolutely stained to hell and back. Mojave doesn't have cloth color options though so my cloth is black and will probably last as long as I want it to.

Check out BarTact, if you haven't already. my seats would be rags by now without 'em.

No issues and the black cloth seats clean up really easy. But if you're worried go to coverking.com. Great selection across a wide range of prices.

I have tan cloth seats, and did pick up a few light stains from hauling pizza home to the family, etc. within the first 6 months of ownership.

Using some products from The Chemical Guys, the stains came out VERY easily. It had been the plan to Scotchguard everything right away, but I got busy and didn't do so (even had the spraycans sitting on a shelf). That's since been remedied.

IMHO it's better to Scotchguard, but the cloth seats can be cleaned up from at least some ordinary stains without too much trouble.

I have had 3 Jeeps with the black cloth interior, two kids and two dogs, plenty of eating drinking and spilling, the seats have never got any stains. If something spills I just spray it down with Tuff Stuff when I have a chance and wipe it with a microfiber towel.
