Hey there installed a 2.5" Skyjacker lift on my 2020 Sport S Gladiator. Does anyone know if I absolutely need adjustable control arms? if so which ones? I'm trying to ball on a budget over here but I also want to make sure that I'm not destroying my Jeep. I've looked a bunch of places and I have heard I need lower control arms only, upper control arms only, and that I need all 8 control arms. I'm also nervous that I've been driving around without any control arm adjustments and that it's ruining parts on my jeep that may break.

Also another question I have is that I really want to go hit a moderate trail this weekend but am still waiting on my adjustable track bars to be delivered. Is it a bad idea to go wheeling?

Any help is appreciated as I'm new to all of this!

You'll need lower front or upper front for caster adjustment. You could also go with geometry brackets and the Mopar lift lcas but at that point it's probably cheaper to go adjustable.

The rears you can get away with stock fine at that low of a lift. Not sure what the kit came with but you'll also want an adjustable front track bar and possibly a rear track bar or correction bracket depending on how off center the rear is.

$62 for a pair of the Mopar LCA's from @AllMoparParts.com that adjust camber for their 2" lift. That should be fine.

I run them on my stock height JTR, factory quality and a bargain at that price.

LCA's for sure. To maintain caster.

Plus you're already going to regret that lift before long anyway.

So it came with only the shocks, coils, and sway bar links. I did order some adjustable track bars for the front and rear. I just want to make sure i'm getting the right stuff is all. The last thing I want to do is break something and have it cost exponentially more!

Probably but I wanted a lift go wheeling and then at the end of my lease will just put the stock wheels, tires, fender flares on, then i'll probably get the Mopar lift on the Rubicon when I lease that next and bolt everything onto that one! At least I didn't get a rough country lift! haha

Least expensive route is the MOPAR LCA's for 2" lift. You'll be close enough it won't matter.

Track bars, you'll be fine. The axles are a tad off center but won't hurt anything. Probably don't even feel it in the steering wheel.

+1 absolute bargin. They work great on my 2.5" front lift.

They are 1/4" longer and are slightly thicker gauge steel.

Yikes, $265 estimated flat rate shipping for $62 worth of metal. You can buy a set of adjustable ones with free shipping for that combined price and have a bit more flexibility. Unless @AllMoparParts.com has some trick to share on how to get a better shipping rate.

They had an option on there for me that was $24 for shipping, still a little pricey but I took it anyway thanks for the help peeps!

Plently of other vendors out there with the same parts.

BAM, Mopar Parts Online, etc.

But I'd just reach out to them, I'm sure that shipping price is an error.

Thanks for making go back and look. I found if I did the shipping estimate before the checkout screen I could see the FedEx ground option for $20. Ordered. :)

If you haven't ordered, if you PM Benny at Allmoparparts through this forum he will give you a free ship code.

You will find that some parts ordered through any MOPAR parts site have a high shipping cost.
In that case order it through a local dealer and pick up there, saves you the shipping cost.
It may cost a little more on the part, but it saves you a ton on the shipping.

The estimated Freight option is a backup option for large items that require to be quoted manually after the order is placed, This would be for engines etc...

Once you enter your shipping info you will see standard Fedex rates populate.

Thank you for the order!
