I would at least try ASAP it didn’t magically happen in 1 month. See if they will do anything for you.I want to get mine done, sides of the hood and door hinges are bad but being a 2020 I think I’m past the warranty period.
UPDATE: The window seal needed to be adjusted and now the window works as expected. Kudos to Mossy Collision for fixing this within 10 minutes of me stopping by to have them check it out! Sometimes the world surprises me. It truly is the little things that restore my faith.Went to have this taken care of on my 2020. The dealer called me the next day after dropping it off that they have "met their quota per the manufacturer" and cannot do any more corrosion jobs. I asked for any documentation they can provide to this point so I can take this to Jeep and have them figure this out for me. They said they can't provide any denial documentation because they
never submitted the pictures or info to Jeep for the warranty claim because they have met their quota and didn't want to waste my time waiting on Jeep to deny my claim.
I called Jeep Cares to see where I could take my truck without playing all these games with dealerships and wasting my time. I was told there's no such thing as a quota and that any dealership can perform this work or sub it out to a body shop. Shocker.
I had them call nearby dealerships and they gave me one that said they would take it in and perform the work. Will find out soon.
What deal did you go to?So one month to the day I got my truck back. Looks fantastic but we’ll see how it holds up. They replaced every hinge on the truck and repaired panels where needed. However, my driver front window struggles badly to raise the glass now. That wasn’t a problem before I took it in. So, if you need to have the warranty work done go over your windows with the advisor and have them mark them down as working properly.
The dealership that took the warranty work told me to go directly to the body shop they outsource to to discuss the issue. I have little faith of any meaningful outcome and will probably have to go out of pocket to get this looked at/fixed at the dealership after the body shop says they don’t remove the interior trim or anything else that would have affected this. Could be coincidence but…
Also, if you get the work done order some Rock Stopperz on Amazon to protect your newly replaced and painted hinges!
Update: took my JT back to the dealership who did the corrosion redo, the orange peel on the everything they touched was unacceptable. They wet sanded and polished it, and it looks great now…ok, so after all this time and energy to “make it right” it’s done. If anyone who works at Jeep/Jeep dealerships reads these forums, I have a simple ask…Do good work, protect your customers investment in your products and follow through for your customers and maybe, just maybe you and your company will be around to Delight another generation of Jeep lovers.Got my JT back yesterday from the dealership for the paint corrosion issues…hood/3 out of 4 doors/tailgate. They‘ve had it since Thanksgiving. They wound up painting everything but the rear quarter panels. The color match is perfect and they did a great job. Lead tech said the dealership does 3-4 of these per month! They also gave me a life time warranty on the new paint and body repairs. I asked what the total cost of repair was (this is the sitting down part) $14,485.00!!! If your having corrosion issues DO NOT do the “I’ll do it later” thing, this process took me over 10 months and two dealerships (one of which I outright fired over selling my replacement parts).

Hey Pismo,What deal did you go to?
Dealerships make a lot BS statements. To say it is inevitable that it will come back is to say the parts were not repaired and/or treated right when manufactured.Morning everyone,
What’s preventing the corrosion from coming back after the parts are replaced? Dealership just said “nothing stops it from coming back”
I just dropped off my JT to get the hood, doors and tailgate replaced under the corrosion warranty.
Mine came with a lifetime guarantee after the dealership did the repairs. I tested this and them on this guarantee a month after the redo on some orange peel issues on the repainted areas they, wet sanded and polished the whole truck.Dealerships make a lot BS statements. If the surface prep and finish prep was done right and remains intact over the course time, it should not corrode unless it gets compromised by external factors.
This is worth a watch. Though the guy says the repair is one and done, I’m sure workmanship is covered. It does a good job of explaining hinge corrosion, but I still don’t get why other corrosion happens.Morning everyone,

Good deal thanks for that input. I want to assume the best and that the dealership body shop knows what they are doing.Mine came with a lifetime guarantee after the dealership did the repairs. Thanks for that. Hope they know what they are doing. It sounded like they do a lot of these fixes so we might be in good shape.Dealerships make a lot BS statements. To say it is inevitable that it will come back is to say the parts were not repaired and/or treated right when manufactured.
