Just a suggestion, when I bought mine I made sure it had the auxiliary switches. This gives you 4 switches for lights and electric accessories, like $295 but you get the bigger alternator also. When you get the tow hitch from factory like $295 also you get the bigger radiator. Cheap options that come in handy down the road.

Stock it does well. Try some quality after market shocks though and the Mojave shocks will lose their shine real quick.
If aftermarket shocks make the Mojave "shine" that much better, makes me wonder why Jeep even bothered on that shock setup they put on as OEM?

Probably readily available in the parts bin.

Because the aftermarket shocks I'm talking about are 3k alone and you'll want to pair them with a quality lift so probably 6-8k total.

The Mojave has great shocks, but people seem to really be obsessed with them as the be all end all of gladiator suspension. Realistically if you plan on building your jeep you can easily end up with a much better suspension for similar to Mojave money just not financed in your car loan.

For people like me who want the best stock off-road capability in the mid-size segment. And don't otherwise care to get into after-market stuff (unless I have no choice like a hood-lock - LOL)...Obiously there is a market for it.

But then you bring forth the question of which is better, Mojave versus rubicon? As stock vehicles they each have areas where they excel.

Agree, they both excel...they are both "better" ;) depending on what kind of off-road you want to optimize on...Rocks - Rubi; faster type trails -MO. I consider them both of equal caliber personally, just buy what fits your needs better.

Then it would ride better than my Audi A8 sedan at hwy speeds. Wouldn’t be fair or a truck anymore

I bought the 2021 Gladiator Mojave. Love it! Highway driving did take me by surprise but you do get used to the light steering. I live in Florida and the Gladiator is the only way to go. One single vehicle - it's a convertible, a beast in poor weather conditions, cool as hell looking and there's nothing in the world like going naked in a Gladiator. I get a lot of looks and compliments.

I bought a Gray Overland and also live in Florida - I love driving it.
