There are A LOT of things car makers are adding that I do not need that drive the cost of vehicles up. I have to believe its all about making that money. I would love to see a bare bones Rubicon.
Yes sir.

A bare bones Rubicon.

Manual mirrors
Manual windows
Manual transmission
All of the off road stuff ffrom the JT Rubicon
Base Uconnect system
Cloth or Rubicon Cloth seats
No AC (AC as an option)
Auxiliary switches
Winch bumper standard

That would be amazing

Cranks are okay on a two door but not being able to roll the rear windows up and down while driving is annoying. It definitely would be nice if manufacturers actually allowed you to custom order options on a car like back in the 50s-70s. Nowadays you're stuck with trying to find a package that suits you the best. I dont want all the extra off road stuff on the Rubicon but i would like the 4.10 gearing on a manual sport but thats not going to happen.

OP you would be better of buying a base model and making it closer to a rubi with aftermarket by the sounds of what you are after

Along with window cranks I'd be a fan of vent windows and a high beam foot switch.... The vent windows always seemed most functional to me for those Fall and Spring days where it's too cold outside for a window down, but the sun coming in is too hot to run the heater. Pop the vent windows open and get some draw through the vehicle.
