I’m hoping to have a Conqueror UEV-490 or UEV-14 sometime next year. That’s about as big a trailer as I want to tow. I’m curious how that will go. Haven’t had any issues with the diesel so far beyond occasional belt (?) squealing on start up.

Also, am I correct in reading that some of these derating issues are related to wire harness issues rather than actual engine overheating or is that still just conjecture at this point?
No problem! Tow 3800lb Trailer 200lb gear in bed no WDH replaced rear bump stops with Timbren only, JTRD on 35's @ 70 mph on hwy - 12mpg, 24 not towing. No regrets no matter what Diesel costs enjoying life isn't cheap.

JFC... What a terrible take. The Ukrainians are shedding their own blood on behalf of the entire western world. Dollar for dollar this is by far the best money the US government has ever spent on defense in the past three decades without a single US service member having to take a bullet to boot. Really, if any of us were wringing hands over the cost of fuel than we should have bought a Prius.

The point being that the gladiator is a trade-off between capability and efficiency. There is no free lunch and the capability costs at the pump, pure and simple. Perhaps you've considered that the legacy the jeep brand was built on - the plucky warfighting vehicle that helped defeat the Nazis, is wonderfully similar to the Ukranian David defeating goliath. ?
Perhaps not the popular take but it is what it is and I sees it how I sees it. I feel we have enough problems within our own borders to deal with. For what it’s worth I don’t care if Ukraine wipes Russia off the map either? Best money spent ?? How about spending it here in the USA funding an increase in border protection? Increasing the number of police on the streets to combat the rise in crime ? Increasing our stock pile of defensive and offensive weapons? “Rather then depleting them by giving them away” Increasing the number of armed resources officers on school grounds ? Idk.. my opinions are sometimes unpopular and/or not inclusive enough…I’ll say I stand with Ukraine in spirit wish them the best but we need to take care of ourselves first.

Both. My JTRD on 35s was purchased strictly for towing. Off-road pop-up camper, horse trailer, etc. I just like to see how they are sitting with various tongue weights. Thank you for posting.

I don't have a pic showing squat, after multiple testing and not wanting to use a weight distribution hitch I exchanged the rear bump stop with the Timbren rubber suspension with additional spacer added and get a 1" squat with Trailer attached fully loaded at 3800lb and around 400lb tongue weight including 2 full 20lb LP tanks. The Trailer has a 6" lift and the hitch stands 1" higher than the ball on level ground when not attached, I wanted 37's instead of 35's to level out, but my Wife has a hard time getting in now. I went with the Mopar lift and added 1.5" Teraflex coil spacers to the front and .5" to the rear so the JTRD sits almost level before the Trailer is attached and when it is there is very little squat and hardly noticeable, I'm happy with the whole setup especially how the Diesel performs pulling it.

my 2021 3.0, a year old this month, with 40,000 miles has given me no issues as of today. everything is original except the metalcloak gamechanger lift, sidestep bars, front bumper and front fenders, the last two because a wood goat wanted to cross the street. no complaints so far. oh, and adding 37" for CHRISTmas!!!! the worst thing I found was the lack of air and oil filters at the parts stores.
