Now this may be a dumb thread to start, but I'm curious and this board always gives great information.

I am curious which Dead Pedal do you guys like; the Quadratech or the M.O.R.E.
The Quadratech is easier to install, but I do not like the chrome. I've really gotten into my Blue with Black trim.
The M.O.R.E. looks like it can be a PITA to install, but I like the black metal.
I am also curious if the Quadratech Pedal going all the way to the floor makes a difference compared to the M.O.R.E. Pedal hanging in the air.
I am 5'11" if that makes a difference. Thanks!

Just purchased the MORE dead pedal last week (I wanted the Quadratec one but it was out of stock). I am installing it this weekend. My initial thoughts on the MORE are that it is super heavy duty, feels very solid so it shouldn’t flex! I like that it hangs so it doesn’t impact my floor mats. It looks like it is painted/powder coated steel so it may rust in the future...

I also installed the MORE and am happy with it. I like the hanging design because I can stretch my leg out under it from time to time on longer drives. One small item - if you plan on installing the mopar brake controller, do the installs at the same time because they share a mounting hole.

Nice, and it's a 1/3 of the price. What hole did you use; close to seat, middle, or close to the engine. How tall are you. thank you
Not the person you're asking, but I have something similar. I'm using the middle position and I'm 5'8".

I originally broke the bracket piece with the two threaded rods as it was made of out stainless and tightened too much (oops).

Getting the back thread on was a PITA in the middle position since you're going in "blind." I ended up just fastening it to the front piece with a single bolt, washer, lock washer and nut, and it doesn't have any play in it.

I bought the Quadratec. Made of brushed stainless steel. I was surprised at the heavy duty quality. One bolt install. Pedal goes to floor and can be lifted out of way if you want stretch.

I was surprised though to feel a pulse in the dead pedal when releasing the foot break. The one bolt used to attach the dead pedal must hold the break reservoir or something on the other side of the firewall. After two weeks I have become so accustomed to it I forgot about it till I wrote this.

There are 3 settings for longer or shorter legs. I like my knee bent so it is set closest.

I do recommend it. Unless you don't care for the brushed stainless steel look.

felt the same vibration, re read the directions, you must install both 8mm washers before installing pedal. Took 95% of vibration away, every now and then I feel it, thinking about using a 3rd washer.

I set it up closest to the seat, I am 5'10", there are a couple youtube videos that show how to install it, I used a zip tie to hold the bracket that goes behind the panel in place, also make sure you really tighten the bolt that sets the position, I did not tighten it enough and had to take it back off to make it tighter.
