I was looking at that just now considering it's just $71. Looks like it's a white brand and different companies just slapping logo on it so OVS and CVT are the same light. But the bag it comes in is huge and the light seems like a big waste of space vs something like the Devos Lightranger. How do you like it so far? Do you keep it in the same giant suitcase or something else?
Yeah I keep it in that suitcase. It's super light overall and the case keeps it nice and protected. These days I'm all about having the right equipment and not wasting extra space. Having that light is one of my favorite accessories that I've had. I also like taking the three individual lights and either hanging them or magnetizing them to my truck. The OVS One has the option to switch the small lights to a yellow hue so you don't attract bugs. I'm assuming CVT also has that option. But yeah I'm assuming that both the CVT and OVS get them from the same source. It's not that I needed this second light. But for the price I just couldn't pass it up.

I was going to pick one up, but shipping was more than the bag.
Worth the shipping as it is pretty damn nice! May be overkill for my climate but I don’t think I will ever be cold again. Downside as it is very bulky and I don’t think I will ever get it back in the stuff sack that it came with!

Get a compression bag and a small pocket sized air pump. They're amazing for bedding and as a plus, it prevents them from absorbing moisture and molding while inside the bag (outside moisture, can't put them away wet).

Same here - wish there was more info. But I’m assuming if they are normally selling it for $179 it has to be something amazing 😂
It is something amazing other than the stuff bag that failed when I pulled the sleeping bag out of for the first time. It is also truly king size so hopefully I can find a king size stuff bag at REI.

I have a love hate relationship with this site. Never did I picture myself buying a roof top tent.

Someone recommend a decent set of cross bars now? 🤣

Keep in mind, I refuse to spend more than half of the $500 I spent on the tent on them.

In all honesty, I’ll probably end up selling this thing if it actually ships.
That's how I ended up with current tires and last week (almost a set of 37s) "fortunately" I talked myself out of them. This site definitely influenced my decision to buy a RTT, and awning. . . Now on my RLD topper it facilitated it. but I definitely planned on one beforehand. Go figure, influenced but I got topper, RTT, and awning for reasonable prices if not 50% or less. The awning was under $100.°° delivered in few days.
If the 270 awning was a right side model I'd possibly have one on the way, I'm not going to change my setup for that. Plus it would put it on "road side" if I was stopped next to a road.
FYI; I could have flipped 4 of the tires in few days for probably double. . . So your tracking. :like:

My XL shipped Friday and arrived at the local yard today. (Nice to be somewhat close to SLC.) Cascadia recommends giving them a call to schedule delivery time frame. I'm going to take the gamble and see if they call me tomorrow as they are supposed to do. Wouldn't expect an actual delivery until Tuesday at the earliest since most LTL's don't load it locally until they schedule.

I've had mixed bags with LTL's. ABF transferred a shipment to a local carrier who was terrible I ended up just going to pick it up. (Ironically work had something go through them and same story though they actually delivered it after having it nearly a week.) Estes meanwhile did a great job calling and getting it on a truck. I've heard Old Dominion is pretty descent so we'll see. Worst comes to worst I'll call them tomorrow night and see what happens.

Anyone else received their tent and have an experience so far?

I had a good experience with OD when my bumper got delivered last year. My delivery for my XL is scheduled for tomorrow between 2-5PM so we'll see if the pattern holds true.

Also I got the XL and the 270 degree awning, how is everyone else going to go about mounting theirs?

Old Dominion will call you to set up a time. Alternatively you can call them to set up a time as well. That phone number is in one of the emails CVT sent you.

Update: Local yard called me this morning to setup delivery for tomorrow's truck. Simply said after 4PM and they said they got me for afternoon delivery and driver will call. So far a good LTL carrier to deal with.

Trying to brainstorm how to use my Jeep's winch to lift the XL on top of my ARE HD bed cap. My garage's 7'-tall entrance won't let me drop it from the ceiling and drive out. Maybe a gantry-type situation using the pole of a cement-based driveway basketball hoop?

How do you do it?

I think making two long ten foot or so ramps out of 2x6 set vertically ,fasten or tie to your rack ends and push up while someone is pulling up also. Whatever you do make it reusable for on and off between camping trips. Make it easy to take on and off and your world will be a better place!
Damn that xL is big and heavy ….Jack
