I’m not jack but yes it does.Jack, does that "T" mount come with the awning? (Mine's still in the box.)
Anyone running this tent in the winter? How’s it holding up? Any issues in general with the product?
Did a trial run in the snow last night. Single digits with a diesel heater and interior insulation. I would have used the cold weather cover, but it's impossible to install when already mounted.Long shot, but does anyone have a pic of the Grey 87" on the jeep and open?
Did you run heat into base or into upper? How long can you run that one without refueling?Did a trial run in the snow last night. Single digits with a diesel heater and interior insulation. I would have used the cold weather cover, but it's impossible to install when already mounted.![]()
Base during the day, upper at night. Ran the lowest setting all night (even one step higher was WAYY too much heat), and only used .25 of the tank through 12 hours!Did you run heat into base or into upper? How long can you run that one without refueling?
I got that piece too. Couldn’t find anything it went to. Thought maybe it was padding in the shipping. They used material around edges of awning and stuff so eh I dk.Does anybody know what this piece is? What it does? (I bought the 87" tent, annex, cold weather exterior cover, interior insulation, and 2.3m 270° awning.)

Just an FYI for the future - that much overhang can/will make a difference, eventually. We upgraded to a Tepui Basin hardshell from the Tepui Autana 3. The length of the Basin hung over the end of my rack, similar to yours. My rack wasn't tall enough to push the nose of the tent over the roof. So for a period, it hung over the back about 18". And about that time, the factory Fox shocks gave up the ghost - or the tent, all 175# of it, overwhelmed the shocks. The JT rode horrible; bouncy, swayed, etc. New lifted suspension didn't have the issue.
Sounds like unfortunate timing? I know the Fox shocks for the Rubicon were mediocre. I have the Max Tow package though I have the newer Mopar Rubicon shocks now. Expecting a few years out of those. (The originals failed before I even mounted the camper.) Any full time additional weight though will certainly wear shocks out faster. (The tent though if you think about it is the weight of an adult. It's more that the weight is poorly distributed.) I don't leave it on year round, just about 4-5 months and not really driving it when I do unless I'm using the camper. I am trying to aquire a larger storage unit though that I can backup to and slide it off onto a rack or something.Just an FYI for the future - that much overhang can/will make a difference, eventually.
