I have purchased my last Jeep. You people refuse to listen to your customers. We ask for 35s, you give us colors, and stickers. We ask for v8, and you give us colors and stickers. Now you drop the base model, jack up the price of the next model while claiming it has more value because you added a bunch of crap no one cares about. What does it take to get a simple limited slip differential? A easy 500 option that should be available on any model and every model, and we have to buy a max tow package, Willys, Rubicon, or Mojave to get it. While it should be a part of those packages, it should be available across the board.

While you make great two vehicles, you treat them like those other SUV thingys you sell, and do not understand, or care to understand the Wrangler/Gladiator customer. These two vehicles should always be ala carte and not packaged into a small group of options. I should not have to buy a "Package" to get an LSD. Yes I can buy my own and have it in in a few hours, but why do that when I can just check the box and let you do it.

Without Wrangler/Gladiator, you are nothing more than another SUV thingy manufacturer so don't forget it. No one gives a rats ass about some other cookie cutter SUV thingy. Jeep owners are different. Stop treating us the same.

Offer a 5.7, 35s, and LSD as stand-alone "Reasonably priced" options, and they will come.

instead of panty cloth upholstery

Bravo, bravo, standing ovation. If I go to the food store and want ham and cheese, I am not forced to buy bread, mayo and mustard. If I go to buy a new shirt and pants, I don't need to buy shoes and socks along with them.

I know a lot of this started when Japanese companies began bundling options since customers were (and still aren't in many cases) allowed to order a vehicle exactly the way they wanted. They were coming from overseas and they came with several options or packages that included more than one or two things.

This does make sense from a manufacturing standpoint to a certain degree. Bundle more things together, allow the manufacturers to plan and purchase things in larger quantities, reduce the unit costs, and offer more items in a group that typically people have purchased together in the past. Some things make sense. You want a Max Tow package, you need to have an automatic transmission and limited slip differential, for example. Great. But manufacturers have abused this concept to the situation we have today.

Now, they have created all different combinations of packages that have individual components that are not even related to each other. For example, if I lived further North, heated seats and steering wheel would be nice. There should be a "Comfort" or some other package that keeps you warm when you get into the vehicle. Looking at the Willys, if I want my "Comfort" package which I should be able to purchase for a few hundred dollars, I instead have to order the Convenience package. For $1,495, it also includes Gorilla glass, passive entry door lock (whatever that is), a garage door opener (I don't have a garage), daytime running lights, and more stuff that has no relation to keeping my hands and ass warm on a cold morning.

But that's the way it is. They make more money that way. I don't see it ending soon.

I think it is ok to offer packages, but everything for the most part should be available as stand alone options. And not putting a V8 in Gladiator is just piss poor marketing skills when you already have it working in Wrangler with R&D, and part numbers. Who is running this side show. It is like someone said, "Hey, jeep has a great thing going, lets muck it up. Just like putting plug in hybrid in Wrangler. Like there is extension cords on a trail some place? More like trying to keep you from taking them off road. Just nonsense from people who make sandals from tires on the side of the road, not jeep.

Jeep this man speaks the truth. Stop taking away options and please add options and choices many have ask for throughout the years. Bring back the sport trim especially being that you need cheaper options because we all know these things are 6k to 10/12k overpriced. Stop being cheap with gladiator and release the options. The gladiator and wrangler are already at the peak of refinements and should not have any issue with all these request. Stop droping the ball

I think it is ok to offer packages, but everything for the most part should be available as stand alone options. I wasn't inferring that packages are not good, just the opposite. In my example, if there was the "Comfort Package" that included both heated seats and heated steering wheel, I don't think it is necessary for a manufacturer to offer "just" heated seats or "just" heated steering wheel. That is all. Some packaged items do make sense and setting up everything as a "pick this, pick that" could add to the manufacturers costs.

But yes, anything that is a reasonable, standalone item, should be available. If I want a blue or grey hardtop on my Sport, why not? Why do I have to upgrade to a Sahara or X to get it? Why not have the axle choices available for all the trim levels? Why not have the steel bumper available as a stand-alone item on all trim levels?

You are correct, things at Stellantis are not run properly for us real users of the product.
