Defroster vent plugs

I got those cheap plugs on Amazon and was wondering if anyone could share a picture pattern that works good in a snow storm but still gets enough heat to the get the center of the windshield. Thanks

When you're defrosters on it only pushes the heat out of the center of the vents. Well at least my 18 JL and 20 JT do. I don't know if it's something that's been fixed in future models but they sell these little caps on eBay or you could plug in the vent and force the air to come out of the side vents. I got stuck in a bunch of bed winter storms last year and the side of my windshields were building up so much ice that I had to literally get out and white out conditions to scrape it off. I put a few in so you can see...

You might wanna order them now since they are only $8. They were temporarily out of stock for a couple months on Amazon. I'm sure there's some others out there but this one's backed by some solid reviews from JT and JL owners.

For only a couple dollars it’s absolutely wort the shot. Ive enjoyed mine, and can say that without a doubt they help deflect air across the rest of the windshield.

They fit mine.

These fit like crap. All won't sit flat and some will even blow out on full blast defroster.
I just removed mine. Done. Will run without as designed.

Several times! There would always be a few that would sit crooked. Swap them out still crooked. Just a couple seemed to pop out full blast.
