I agreed that it might as well be a real deal when they went that far to copies. But i haven't seen a genuine oil filter that comes in a blue mopar box. And i have some that are dated from 2018 up to 2022. I'll attach some pics of the 7 i have on hand. Don't know if you noticed or not, but that seller is from China. For awareness- this was shipped from garland Texas Jeep LOL so for anyone in that area, they are selling counterfeit filters on eBay. Be advised.
To the point that the dealership print off in the box, and the label on filters are fake…
In the pursuit for self betterment, can someone please advise on how to procure non counterfeit filters from Jeep dealers? Wasn’t aware there was such a pandemic….
If someone came to the board with an ethical post- as in those look stolen- I would probably agree, I am willing to bet a significant amount of parts on eBay that are new, are likely stolen…. But to say that they are fake? ?? come on guys. The level of detail to counterfeit the filters, the shipping labels, the packing sheets… Geesh. If they are fake ??? their counterfit process appears to be as strict as a wix filters QC/QA so I suppose I’m ok with it. Not quite a Donaldson/amsoil…. But I’ll live. If you feel better walking into your parts counter- by all means.
I posted with the intent to literally give a cheaper option. If you don’t like it, or are skeptical, please don’t buy… ???
