DIY Top Hoist

Im trying to figure out a rolling top hoist. My garage isnt big enough to do something from the ceiling and i really dont want to spend over 1k for the Top Lift Pro. I was thinking there should be a way to convert an old engine hoist to work. Has anybody DIY’d a rolling lift?

I made one from a Harbor Freight engine hoist to install my RSI Smartcap. I put a piece of unistrut down the center, and some bags of salt on the base to keep it from tipping.
