They do NOT come with a " 2" lift "
But they do sit a bit higher than others in part due to the fender flares sitting higher, etc.

If I measure the front of a Rubicon, from the ground to a certain spot on the headlights, or even the grill, a Rubicon sits about 1" higher than an Overland.
However, at least 0.2" of that is tires.

A 2" lift isn't even a factory option, so no, the factory doesn't do that, so it won't be on a build sheet. If they did offer that as an option, it would show up on the build sheet.
Factory will be stock Rubicon suspension.
The springs are a bit higher rate than something like an Overland so if you put the Rubicon springs under an Overland it may lift the Overland anywhere from 0.75" to a bit over 1" higher than factory for an Overland.
The combination of spring rate and tire size make the Rubicon sit higher than the others, and the fender flares make them LOOK like they are sitting even higher.

We have a Wrangler Rubicon sitting in the garage next to my Overland Gladiator - amazing how much higher the Wrangler seems to sit - but when I measure from the floor to certain body panels on the Wrangler and compare to my Overland JT - they are the same on the front - and my JT sits 1" higher than stock. From the door hinges back, my JT wins because of the rake. Wrangler doesn't have that rake of a truck.

At any rate - Gladiators don't have a 2" lift option unless that got snuck in very recently.
Correct : when I ordered mine, I had to have the Mopar Lift installed at the dealership prior to me picking it up.

Thank you guys. I would figure if it were a Rubicon option or even extra options it would have shown in the build sheet. I'm pretty sure the one next to it had the Mopar lift.

Now to find out if the Mopar lift voids the warranty. I figure they'll want to install it though in order to keep a warranty. I know dealing with my Mustang it really depends on the dealer and/or service manager.
You can actually purchase an extended warranty add-on just for the lift. Most people think its included in the "standard" jeep extended warranty, but its not, its separate.

I'm frankly not sure why one would purchase that rider.
If I'm not missing anything - 2" mopar lift is -
4 springs
4 shocks
pair lower control arms
Front and rear sway bar links.

Am I missing anything?
So what's going to go bad?
Bust a spring? Not really likely and if you did then it's a good time for some better springs.
Shock go bad? Again, great time for some better shocks.
Sway bar links? Likely pretty cheap so
Lower control arms? Only if the bushings go bad, and the control arms are cheap to buy - with bushings. So if you bend or bang one up badly or rip up a bushing, then maybe that lift wasn't the best choice?
Just tossing stuff out there. Wondering if it's just as cheap to be self-insuring on a lift kit vs. the extended "warranty" which is really a service contract more than warranty.
I guess at the price of SHOCKS these days, maybe the contract is cheaper?

I was just throwing it out there, because the OP mentioned warranties. Shocks are expensive, they alone would cost more than the lift rider.

I wondered about the shocks - thinking of better than stock shocks for my Overland but when I look a the prices - I wonder if trading wouldn't be cheaper LOL.
So you answered my sort of, almost a question - would that rider for the lift be cheaper than replacing a busted or leaking shock after 1 year - sounds like a resounding YES.

Thanks for all the input guys. I'm thinking I'll get the 2" Mopar lift and do it myself. I honestly trust my work more than some tech at the dealership that could or could not be having a bad day. I also pride myself on built not bought. I enjoy the work.

I was just hoping it wouldn't impact the warranty on things like bearing, the electric sway bar disconnect, axles and such. It doesn't sound the Mopar lift will effect any of that. I did also get an extended 7 year warranty.

It won't, and it can't. That's the law.
Like pointed out - you may have gotten the extended "warranty" but if you didn't get the rider for the lift, it will just be covered for the standard 12 months or 12,000 miles.
(like said, they call them warranties but they are not - they are service contracts but warranty makes people feel better)

Also, the rider (sevice contract) for the lift isn't that expensive in the big scheme of things. You can get it to match the "warranty" you already purchased.

I bought my JTR new and installed the Mopar 2 inch lift in my garage myself. Also got the Synergy adj track bars to center the diffs. The Mopar 2 inch lift comes with Fox 2.5 shocks that are numbered. A big upgrade. I also have 315-70-17 BFG KOs and my 7 year warranty is safe.

You can install any lift you want and still have warranty coverage on things not impacted by the lift.

If you put 40" tires on with your Mopar lift, they can deny warranty coverage on the axles if they determine the failure was due to the bigger tires and they are the type of dealer that enforces this.

Some dealers will work on anything, others will look for reasons not to.
