Driver’s Floor is soaked? anyone else have this issue

Noticed water in my all weather mats and lifted them and the carpet is soaked. It’s from rain. Yes I know the drain plug is open. Jeep Cares

Check your freedom top. It's easy to have it slightly misaligned to where water can get it. The other spot is the windshield frame seal.

A few months back the Gladiator hadn't been driven and there had been a lot of rain. We hopped in and water came down from around the rear view mirror area. Also had light water in the driver floor board. Nothing like you have.

Pulled the tops, made sure everything was clean and tight, and seated the tops again. No issue since.

I do continue to monitor it. And now always inspect it after washing just to see, since I use a pressure washer.

Yes, there doesn’t appear to be water dripping anywhere that I can see. The all weather mats have hidden the wetness until it started to fill up.

I had this problem with my 2018 JL this past winter. I took it to the dealer to get it on the record before the 36 month bumper to bumper warranty expired. The dealer said they saw the problem and replaced seals on both sides (68372523-AD and 68372526-AD) to fix it.

It was rained on several times after I dried it out but before I got it to the dealer without leaking, so I don't really know if the dealer actually fixed anything.

What worries me the most is that I wasn't aware of the leak until I removed the floor mat. I just put Amorlite in my JT and I don't think there's anyway to tell if it gets a leak like that.

Glad you commented the passenger side is leaking also. Sent the service advisor your comment and she said that’s a big help.

After a few days of rain, my leak is back. Looks like I'll have to investigate myself.

The dealer found the leak, BUT THE REPLACEMENT SEALS ARE ON NATIONWIDE BACK ORDER, could be months until I get it fixed.

JeepCares they gonna replace the carpet?

I used tape like this post. It rained heavily last night. It’s all dry today.

I had similar leak under the floor mat I used a plastic adhesive door sweep along the door frame.. diverts the water from the drip guard to the outside of the jeep. Saw it ob the JL forum. Easy solution and stops rain from dripping in along the gutter when door is open.

What is that? The product? They probably don’t make it in hydroblue.

It is a simple adhesive door sweep . Could be truck bed or rattle canned to blend in with oem black foam
