I’ve been kind of comparing the EOC tuning with the MRtuning. Is the software offered with the MRtuning pretty good and user friendly?

I like how EOC now offers switching tunes on the fly, but it’s kind of pointless if the tune resets to the economy tune every time you cut the truck off. I was always into Efi live and H&s tuning software so i always preferred to have the computer capabilities, but it doesn’t matter much on a bench flash tune either way.

EOC just resells others products. MR tuning does their tunes and T&S speed shop builds their exhaust. You can only get the SOTF tune if you don’t have the auto cruise control, which I do. MR tuning is very communicative and you can tell him which tune you want and he can put a single tune for you

Is it just me missing something or is EOC just extremely upcharging for the same stuff? I can get stage 2 tunes, exhaust, and transmission tuning through MRTuning for $1864 usd, but the exact same setup will run me $2525 usd through EOC.

That’s selecting stage 1 and stage 2 package. Shows 30hp, 50hp, 65hp, and 80hp

I ALLEGEDLY got the exhaust, trans tune and single tune ECU from EOC for little less than $2k plus the shipping of the ECU to them which seemed high at $160

Allegedly
its 3-4 bolts and two latch connectors . Slightly awkward but 10 mins tops. I strongly recommend you buy a spare ecu from somewhere and have it cloned to your stock one and then send one of them off. You can probably find a mobile guy by calling some tuner shops in the area.

Never know what could happen in shipping or customs and if your only ecu disappears or gets broken you’re up a shit creek.

It’s four 10mm nuts and the two connectors. Pulling all the cables off the z-case fuse makes getting it out easier.

MR tuning doesn’t have the complete exhaust, just from the turbo to the muffler. That’s the only reason I went with EOC for the complete exhaust

Yea, i emailed them and got a quick response. They offer the 5 tunes with the SOTF option for $881 usd, compared to EOC charging $1150 usd for the same tunes. Looks like I’ll be ordering through MRTuning.

I found a Flo-Pro 3” exhaust in the US that will ship quick, i think I’ll just have to find or fab a egr plate, i don’t think the Flo-Pro kit comes with one. Crazy that EOC upcharges $270 for the exact same tunes.

I am so happily confused by the prices for these things. The headers for my Mustang cost as much as taking my Jeep to a full stage 2 with exhaust. This is lovely.
