If you reside in California I would suggest not tampering with emissions equipment unless you are a migrant.

You have install the exhaust prior install the tune, which was installed post haste. It took4 hours and two cuts (because of rusted bolts and I didn’t want to fish the stock resonator over the axel) to remove the exhaust, which I’ll hang onto for a worst case scenario.Did you already install the tunes or were you waiting on the exhaust? Curious how it runs and if you think it was worth the money to delete.
Did you need any gaskets for the exhaust? Asking for a friend,,,,You have install the exhaust prior install the tune, which was installed post haste. I Took a trip today to Dutch Wonderland and was getting 28 mpg with a 2” lift and 35s doing anywhere from 60-80 mph. It was a tough pill to swallow knowing I was voiding the warranty but totally worth it. This is now the diesel I thought I was buying!
No sir. But I did reuse the gasket/shims from the down pipe because I was able to.Did you need any gaskets for the exhaust? Asking for a friend,,,,

Two systems that work to filter out different pollutants. However, If you remove the emissions from a gasser you’d still see increased horsepower. With diesel, you also see increased MPGWhat I want to know is how come gasoline cars finally figured out reliable emissions stuff, but diesel still can’t. It’s why I don’t have a diesel gladiator.
i disagree … gas has it pretty figured out for the most part …Two systems that work to filter out different pollutants. However, If you remove the emissions from a gasser you’d still see increased horsepower. With diesel, you also see increased MPG
Does the exhaust from Eoc run from the turbo back, or downpipe back? The wording makes it confusing but it looks like it’s downpipe back. And did you get trans tuning as well? You have install the exhaust prior install the tune, which was installed post haste. Turbo “elbow” back … look at your exhaust now and where the V Band clamp starts, the EOC exhaust starts.Does the exhaust from Eoc run from the turbo back, or downpipe back? The wording makes it confusing but it looks like it’s downpipe back. And did you get trans tuning as well?
Like Eric said, it’s from the turbo back and I did get the trans tune but I have yet to apply it. As it sits right now it’s amazing and I don’t think you’d miss the trans tune but I will be hooking it up this weekend.Does the exhaust from Eoc run from the turbo back, or downpipe back? Please update after you do as I'm thinking HARD about doing this. It'd be great if I didn't "need" the trans tune. But if it's that much better than I'll get it for sure.Like Eric said, it’s from the turbo back and I did get the trans tune but I have yet to apply it. Trans tune is definitely not needed but it shifts more like how you’d drive a manual. When breaking, it downshifts holding the gears better. When accelerating the torque converter locks up sooner and it holds the gears longer. I don’t think I’d miss it if I didn’t have it but I bought the entire package from MR Tuning and why wouldn’t I at this point? Please update after you do as I'm thinking HARD about doing this. Thanks!
I’ve been kind of comparing the EOC tuning with the MRtuning. Is the software offered with the MRtuning pretty good and user friendly?Like Eric said, it’s from the turbo back and I did get the trans tune but I have yet to apply it. I self identity as an undocumented migrant, will that work?If you reside in California I would suggest not tampering with emissions equipment unless you are a migrant.
They have, the I6 Duramax with it's low pressure EGR has basically no failures, and is likely the future. What I want to know is how come gasoline cars finally figured out reliable emissions stuff, but diesel still can’t. It’s why I don’t have a diesel gladiator.
