I just added the EOC stage 1 tune. I'm loving it. My throttle response is increased. I'm getting nearly 2 mpg better. And the increase in power and torque is very noticeable. I chose the mid tune since I plan on towing my RV camper a couple of times a year. EOC was very patient with me and answered many questions. I believe we had 37 emails between us before it was over. Thank you to everyone on the forum who helped me to make this decision.

Curious on this as well. I am having issues with the DEF and am only 2K miles from being out of Warranty and looking to get this done as well. I do have an e-mail in with EOC but am just waiting to hear back from them.

stage 2 SOFT has 5 power levels that include race. Haven’t played to much with that level, but it’s quick for sure
Old thread but are you using a Tazer with the Shift-on-the-fly tunes? I have a couple questions

live functions of the tazer aren’t compatible with SOFT tuning.

I’m aware, but you can still use the taser for everything else, correct? Just curious if you left it plugged in or removed it once you re-married to the truck.

yes you can use it for all the non live functions. You’d have to remove it if you got the transmission tune just while it’s being programmed then you’d be fine to reinstall it

I have a few questions.
1. Has anyone used Diesel Dudes bundles? It has the PCU tune and delete pipes. What is your opinion of them?
2. What do you do with your DEF tank? If you have to take it to the dealer and put it back to stock for warranty work, you still need DEF in the tank, correct?
3. DD offers 3 tunes, stock, 50 HP and 90HP. Does increasing HP increase oil temps? Does a delete affect oil temps?

Thanks guys

1.I have no experience with the other tunes and can’t speak to any experience other than EOC, who suck and are miserable with communication, and MR Tuning who was a joy to work with and is who writes EOC tunes.
2.I just left it in place and taped the wiring harness out of harms way in the worst case scenario that I need to put it all back together one day, albeit unlikely. While technically not a warranty ending process good luck getting the dealer to perform warranty work once you delete.
3. It should lower oil temps allowing more heat to escape the engine more quickly but I didn’t check before and after

Thank you for the response. Did you drain the DEF tank?

For EOC stage 2. drain the DEF. It's 3 bolts for the skid plate, then 3 bolts for the pump. pull the pump about an inch or 2. Let drain (2 gallons of DEF takes about 30-45min). put everything back together and fill the DEF tank with 2 gallons of distilled water.
