Got check engine light today on 2023 Gladiator Rubicon EcoDiesel. Jeep seems to drive normal. Will check with the dealer tomorrow. Only 4000 miles.

Hopefully it's just a bad sensor, or wire. Worst case timing is going out from a hardware failure And you're valves will make friends.

Funny. Got up this morning and cranked the Gladiator. Check engine light is gone. Drove it to work like nothing happened. My wife drove it when light came on. I will blame it on my wife bad driving, haha. Will see if it comes back.

Got the code again yesterday and went away by this morning. I will check the wire harness you mentioned.

Just curious if the wire harness fixed the problem? I am having the same problem with my 2023 3.0 that started at 5000 miles. They replaced my sensor and the light immediately came back on and the jeep went into limp home mode. Now they are telling me it is the wire harness and that there’s not one available in the country and may not be one available for months.

Where's this sensor or harness located?
Passenger side. Against the firewall heatshielding running vertical behind the down pipe and EGR flange that goes from post DPF filter up to the EGR. The harness is very close to the exhaust and can overheat and cause issues. How it overheats and doesnt melt but causes electrical issues? No clue. Its a known issue. You can wrap it in DEI sleeving and tuck it against the battery to the passenger side.

The part number is 685652242-aa I guess I’m out of luck until the auto strike ends. They’re telling me months until I can get one.

Anyone resolve their issue? I got this code earlier today and only have 600 miles on mine. Just picked it up Wednesday. Hasn’t gone off yet.

I just got mine back after being in the shop for two months. They replaced wire harnesses and computers and nothing fixed it so stelantis started a buyback on it that can take four months. One of their engineers said that there is around 50 people that they know of with the same problem with no fix.

Sorry to hear about the BS. 4months for a buy back! I really like the looks of the JT, the Jeep people, and jeep events. That’s why I haven’t traded mine in yet. Also, I’m lucky enough that I don’t have to rely on it as a daily driver. However, this is one of many reasons I will never buy another new jeep. God awful customer service!! Non existent warranty service and incompetence at many dealerships service departments. Some of the worst I have ever experienced in any industry.
I had F150 buy back a few ago. Went to the shop 3 times for the same issue and then the buy back was started. If I remember correctly, the total time without a vehicle (including the trips troubleshooting the problem) was maybe half that time. It was also at the end of the factory warranty. Maybe 1k miles left.
Sorry I went on rant. This stuff makes me crazy. I hope it all works out for you in the end. Good luck.

2023 Gladiator Eco Diesel bought Brand New 12/15/2023 2 Weeks in 549 Miles Check Engine light came on Went into Limp Mode Lost Power No Fun Had it towed Back to selling dealer 167 Miles away Had to pay out of pocket for tow as Jeep wave and roadside would not tow it back to selling dealer, local dealers would not touch it. Selling dealer Told me code is p0341 They Cleared the Code and told me to Drive it to see if it comes back, printed me Service Bulletin stating that is the Procedure, if it comes back (and Im still Alive) they will change the Cam Sensor First. I said Wow At least spray some Sprinkle Dust Maybe Magically will fix itself ? They are aware these trucks have this issue but they do not know what is the fix. So Far Disappointed. Of course happened Friday before New Years Eve. Opened Case for Towing Reimbursement for Now as I am Afraid this will be a Long Story with Stellantis Corporation.

Just A quick Update just in case anyone else having same issues, same problem Happened a Second time at 1270 Miles Check Engine Light came on P0341 Limp mode Loss of Power Had it towed to Another Dealership (out of pocket again) Jeep wave would only tow to nearest dealer and they do not work on Diesels. Got a call from Service and they did the Exact same thing Clear the Code and sent me on my way. I do not understand How this is considered an acceptable fix?!? I believe I got me a Lemon ?? I guess Im going for Round 3 !! Truck feels slow and sluggish MPG is Down and it looks like it throws a Engine light every 5-700 miles. Disappointed to say the Least.
