I don’t even have a real build on my Mojave!
RSI cap
Stainless unistrut bed rails
Rusty’s control arm skids
Curt front hitch
Mopar cold air intake
Partner cookstove
48” drawer slides for kitchen slide out
Stainless sink for kitchen
4WD sticker for tailgate
Surf rod rack
Stainless cook table for cap
Yakima roof rack parts
Rok blokz mud flaps all around
Red tuning hood lift struts
EDIT: I forgot the Oracle bumper reverse lights coming in May, and the RC side steps, takes me to $6,000, and I just looked into a small propane fireplace heater from Dickenson for the cold nights...$750-$1200! I hold this fourm resonsible for my spending , without this forum, I'd be ignorant and rich!

$6,100 holy crap and my jeep is stock!! (Edited price as memory came back,OMG!)
Kitchen build will be a bit more including a water tank, air comoressor is needed for the surf, refrigerator, and for some reason I think I need a winch, though the only winch I’ve had was on my 46 CJ2A in 1976 and never used it, but read some trails require a winch, Ha!.....Jack

Well I'm putting $3-$5k, because with a bed liner, steps, rubi takeoff suspension wheels and tires, Sunrider, a cheaper tonneau cover and a few other miscellaneous things, I'm already over $2,500 and I know I'm not done yet! Ask again in a year and I'm sure I'll jump to that $5-$10k bracket

I voted 5-10k but after reading the posts I realized how much stuff I forgot when doing my math in my head. I’m over $10k. I’ve got another $5k burning a hole in my pocket but my local shop is claiming they can’t get the parts I need to do the work I want.

This is kind of a deceiving poll, I included everything going into the overland build so I know I’m in the 5-10k range already with still a few more items to knock off the list that might push me over 10k at some point. If I went with my previous crawler build I was well over 25k before I traded it in. If you’re trying to get an idea on how much you might be putting into your build the sky’s going to be the limit.

I’d definitely suggest always research as much as possible and then get what your budget can afford based on that research. A good example is always suspension, I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen guys all happy they picked up a RC lift kit for dirt cheap and has a “higher lift” than expected only to upgrade a year later because it drooped so much it’s back to stock ride height and feels like you’re driving a boat on choppy water. Spend the extra few hundred and get a quality kit that will endure.

I'm ~$8K so far and have done no wheel/tire/suspension mods. Looking hard at Magnuson for this year.....

I didn’t realize how much I’ve spent or how much I’ve purchased till now… how quickly it adds up.

- soft top ($1500)
- hard tonneau cover ($600)
- front and rear bumper ($1200)
- headlights ($800)
- tow hitch ($300)
- running boards ($500)
- bed liner ($550)
- fenders ($600)
- tazer ($300)
- tires ($1000)
- underseat bin ($250)
- trail rails ($250)

Next is suspension 😂

3-5k at this point. That Diamondback HD being my first purchase put me way up there from the beginning. Everything else was not too bad really.

Diver Down Seat Covers
Redarc controller
taser JL + Camera
Winch plus bumper 1k
LED headlights, foxlights, and aux reverse lights probably $900 there.

holy crap just realized I am closer to 5k while typing this, lol

For sure, if you're running an overlander this gets out of hand quickly. My RTT and canopy put me over the $10K mark, when I add the suspension, tires, winch, lighting, trail kitchen, cargo glide, water tank, etc., we're pushing $30K. But she's a beauty:
