Agree. We all know someone will eventually hack the USB encryption or online database and grab it all, then sell it. Nothing is totally secure.
How much can you copy on a three day subscription? I bet someone will do it.

So it's formatted in the CDFS file system. The computer sees it as a CD, not as a typical USB drive.

It gets weird when you try to open in Brave. I guess they somehow used the 2019 Renegade one as a template, and Brave exposes that layer. You can't go any farther in Brave.

When you run the disk in Edge it's normal. Odd that Edge and Brave are both Chromium based.

Interesting too that it blocks you from taking traditional screenshots while it's opened.
I captured the torque tables using a screen reorder (Free Cam) to record my activities to video. Then I went through the video and captured still frames for the collection that I posted last night.

Can you print to PDF? When I had a 3 day Tech Authority Subscription online, I just print to PDF most of what I thought I would need.

FYI I spend around 3 hours trying to crack it. Not so much to pirate, but to backup because if that USB fails it's gone. No luck. No way to take an image, anything.

Yeah. Same here so far.
Some info points to possibilities in Linux but man I hate Linux.

UPS dropped off my wdm and service manual USBs this afternoon.

To answer one of the questions about the 3.0. It appears to be in the drop down list of choices but the Engine chapter is missing, sorry to report that.

I have it opened with Chrome and it appears to show the figures and instructions. When I go to print my print window give it an html as a file name and prints the current view. It does not print the entire section, just a print view. I can save the figures as a png file. Saving the document however gives me a chrome message that it will not be saved.

We knew this was the case. I'm glad I have mine on hand.

Are those expensive? I’m an engineer working on Linux & different security stuff all day. I can probably dump it?
About $150 all in.
They seem to be sold out now though.

I could send you the unlocker executable from the drive. Maybe that would offer a clue as to the encryption type.

Yeah I’m not sure what's the overall architecture but if you guys want to upload what's in the disc on a drive or something I can have a look when I have some time for sure. If it's self-contained on a disk it's broken by definition.
Problem is, it's only $129 and I'm not sure I'll find a solution quick enough so that its worth it ? probably whats they're betting on anyway.

If I were you, a tip I can give you to shortcut some complexity isn't to focus so much on the encryption if it's encrypted at all. Attach a debugger to it, access whatever info you want, break, then dump the process memory and most likely you'll find a lot of clear text. Most likely just plain HTML which would be a copy of whatever is on the disk, but decrypted/unpacked.

Before that, if you want to check that data files are encrypted, a good proxy it to check their entropy. Text files and binary have low entropy, by definition a cryptosystem tries to increase the encrypted file entropy to almost random so they'll be way higher.

Good luck
