If you adjust the lower arms all the way in, and are still longer than stock. Then add adjustable upper control arms to help with caster. It pushes the axle too far forward with the geo brackets. To fix the issue, you have to cut the lower arms to shorten them up to get back to stock length.

Is it an optical illusion or do you have about the exact amount of exposed threads as the portion you cut off? Could you not have just tightened the joint all the way to the jamb nut and not cut anything? All aftermarket arms aren't the same. Many will in fact go all the way down to stock length, and from your photos it looks like even yours would have. Low profile jamb nuts are also available (about half the thickness of the standard ones). Many of the geo brackets have multiple upper holes for dialing in caster, when paired with adjustable uppers you can play with the lengths and mounting positions to get the axle just where you want it. I agree if your lowers were way too long you might have to cut them, but I've yet to run into that on the lift and arm combos we've run.

Screwed all the way in before cutting was a 1/4" too long. After cutting, it screwed down to stock length.
