Hi everyone. Been lurking here for the past couple or weeks, trying to soak up a little knowledge about my truck and also the community.
i just purchased a ‘21 Granite crystal Metalic Mojave and absolutely am in love.
Honestly i didn’t know a whole lot about Jeeps and the various packages. I knew that whatever gladiator that i found would immediately go into the shop to be lifted. I just like the aggressive wheels/tires stance over stock. The dealer that i use only had rubicons and Mojave in stock with the few options that i wanted. Ultimately i went with the Mojave because i liked the look of the truck over the Rubicon.
i was able to visit the truck yesterday at the off-road shop for a check in and it’ll looking like I’ll be able to pick it back up mid next week.
im attaching a couple photos that i snapped as they were bringing it down off the lift.
It’s a 6” Fabtech lift
17” Fuel Vector bronze wheels
37” Toto open country

after reading through this forum, I’m already expecting a little bit of hate for ripping off the factory Mojave suspension, but no mater what i was buying(rubicon or Mojave) i knew the suspension would be going away from the start.

Took me a while to get on the Jeep train as well, but I just picked up my Mojave about 3 weeks ago and I think you'll be happy with your choice. Thing is a blast to drive around. I'm on the north west side of Houston myself so maybe I'll see ya around town.

Welcome! Great looking truck!

Curious, what are you doing with the Mohave suspension? ;)

Your Mojave suspension could have fit the 37s. What are you looking to do with a 5" lift?

, I’m already expecting a little bit of hate for ripping off the factory Mojave suspension,
This is a more of a "You Do You" group than hating on people.
Unless you want to tub the body and chop the top. For some reason, folks tend to get a bit bent out of shape if a Jeep is lowered instead of lifted.

It’s just personal preference. I’m coming from a F-150 FX4 with a 7” lift. I’m used to driving a high truck and wanted something with a little more lift than just a 2” Mopar lift. Plus my dealer is giving me a 5 year 60,000 mile warranty on the big lift. It took a little of the worry out of going bigger.

Congratulations and enjoy the new ride! Welcome from the north side. Check out the Houston Jeep Society page on Facebook. There are weekly events all over the city, we'd love to have you join the group.

No hate, but I do love my Mojave. That's a good looking truck! :)

Make sure you get all the parts back as you can sell them pretty easily!

Your truck make it your own. Sell the suspension to pay for the new suspension or some other mods.
