I read today the new Toyota Tundra/Tacoma will have turbos

While the Gladiator theoretically manages my payload of 5-6K I’m going with a loaded RAM Laramie or Rebel. Prices are just too nice to ignore and it will manage the winter and mud almost as well as the JT. I’m in my early 40s and I just need not to worry about it.

Love the look of the JT but not the price, comfort, towing, wandering, etc

Good luck lads - great forum you keep alive here

That’s pretty funny man. That pano roof in the 1500 is niiiccceee.

Maybe on full moon nights I’ll open that gigantic panoramic sunroof and stand on the drivers seat while I steer with my feet and pretend I’m in a gladiator with the wind in my hair and $10-15k in my wallet

When you think about it there isn't much load on the jeep maybe 4-5K tops.Rock racer/bouncer isn't extremely heavy.

And look at how the ass squats and the nose is high in the Glad.

So I’m curious… How is it handling this load? What is your altitude? Thanks

Gotta inquire with Fab Fours - it is their Gladiator.

I was simply sharing the pics they posted on IG with enthusiasts here.

Good luck!

The assessment of the OP is spot on. I towed am 20 foot cargo trailer about 200 miles Sunday. Probably 5000lbs. It was torture. About 7mpg and loud as hell. Kept it at 60 but didn’t like it.

did you break the engine in properly first?

I heard on a TFL JL rubicon video that their MPG was at like 13 when new, and went to 19 after 4000 is miles. @Sorbs, was I close?
