Could you guys post a full lock to the passenger side photo for me to see?

I’m wondering if I’ll need to adjust mine. Not sure if it’s pushing against the stabilizer when I’m turning all the way to the right. Earlier I pulled out of a parking spot and it felt like I needed to do a 2 point turn to get out of a big spot.

The photo is mine, all the way to the passenger side without someone or something holding the steering wheel.

Instructions does state that all the way to the passenger side needs to be 1/4”. I’m wondering if it’s where someone will need to hold the steering wheel and then set the stabilizer to the 1/4” clearance.

You can stick a piece of tape at knuckle steering stop and apply a little grease on the shaft, then turn to full lock and checks.

Mine touched at full lock, I just installed a Clayton relocation bracket and it made the fit perfect and gave me a extra 3/8" clearance.

Looks like the OP got the FOX ATS. It's a great unit. It was a game changer for me on my 3/4 ton.

For what it's worth I have been running a Fox ATS on my 2017 F250 Super Duty for about 5 years now. It has been great. I never mess with the dial adjuster. I adjusted and tested the settings a bit when I installed it to where it felt best. Which was right about in the middle setting.

I don't know if my adjuster is stuck or not, I've never had a need to mess with it. I'm not the type to climb under and adjust the ATS depending on terrain. It just works well all the time and in all terrain so there's no need.

When my JT Mojave needs a new stabilizer, I will be replacing it with a FOX ATS. It should have been included on the Mojave package IMO. All the colors are there.

Got the confirmation from the Fox service techs.

You’ll need someone to hold the steering wheel full lock to the right and then it should be a 1/4” from there.

see my post above

you also need to verify in both directions you have extra play. i would remove the stabilizer and use a sharpie to mark the max fully extended length and how much shaft is exposed then target to have 3/8" of extra, same applies for the other end too. I would use a point pen and mark stuff and refine stuff until i get everything where i liked it. The marks help you track your adjustments. Then use break clean to remove the marks or leave them so you can see if the clamp moves or turns.

So, will the Synergy kit (SYN8807-03) work with either the Fox 983-02-246 (JK Steering Stabilizer) or the Fox 983-02-248 (JT / JL Steering Stabilizer)?

If you get the JK kit, it’s already tie rod mounted so the kit includes the track bar stud and the tie rod clamp.

If you want it axle mounted, then you’d go for the JL/JT version.

For the general group...To add to that, the JK kit with the track bar stud in my opinion brings the stabilizer body to close to the track bar on full lock, with little room for adjustment. Using a stabilizer relocation, track bar mounted bracket will give you a little more clearance to avoid stabilizer body contact with the track bar on full lock.

Yes, but you need the Synergy setup either way to mount on the track bar, right. As the mount on the stabilizer for a JK is a 1 1/2” and the JT track bar is 1 5/8” right? Or am I reading wrong in this thread.
