I am running that one and have had no issues. Definitely an improvement over the factory unit.

i have the same one, noticeably better than the factory unit. Just make sure that you do the priming procedure after you install.

I installed this fix stabiliser, better than factory. But there are adjustable options from fox if you want stiffer steering. This one is more responsive than the OEM, but it’s not much stiffer.

Agreed. I have this same stabilizer and it is an improvement over stock, but not much stiffer.

If it’s not stiffer how is it better than the factory stabilizer?

That one sucks don’t bother get a thru shaft one. I had the “upgraded” fox one and it was awful. I just upgraded to the teraflex adjustable 1000x better

I have the through shaft non adjustable model. It was given to me for free, I didn't buy it. Not worth it at all, it performs exactly as stock. If you have a wobble/shimmy before, you will still have it, but with less money in your account.

Read the posts here and see if anyone describes "why" they like it. I suspect most aren't eager to say they wasted money. I've compared the damping force of the stock stabilizer to the Fox-- side by side and they are identical. Further, assuming you get one that "stiffens" the steering, that's simply putting more stress on the steering gear. It also flexes significantly under stock design, which is why multiple companies have steering gear braces. It's your money to spend, but I'd advise against it.

Done with dinner, so a little more info to help you out.

I upgraded my stabilizer because with bigger (and wider) tires I was feeling the truck getting pulled into potholes. This can be a little scary when going 60-80 as you can imagine.

I was looking for something that would lessen the shock, without harming the rest of the drive. Obviously not expecting a miracle, but a little bit of help can go a long way at those speeds.

I went with the ATS, and it helps. It doesn’t perform miracles or add 10hp, but it helps in my situation.

All of that said, one of the next items on my list is a PSC steering assist to help turn the bigger tires when on the trails. If you have or are going bigger tires, that could be a good thing to save up for instead of buying the stabilizer now.

Also, there seem to be Fox people and Teraflex people. Only you can decide which flavor you are :)

I just got the Fox Race series 2.0. Over $400. Definitely worth it. Even my wife says it drives better.
