First stop was at the Albuquerque KOA. Uneventful but that is a good thing. Next morning we headed west to Petrified National Forest. Beautiful sights.

Amazing trip and thanks for the photos! Originally from LA (Mandeville), but now on the East Coast, thanks to the US Navy!

Fantastic pics and looks like an awesome trip.
I would love to do a trip like that.
Curious, your jeep looks highly modified. Would a stock gladiator be able to make most of those badge trails. Are there always/usually opt out paths for the really difficult parts on these trails?

You can read the write ups and the difficulty rating on each trail in the Jeep badge of honor app. I'm on 38's, 3.5" lift and full skids. Rubicon package so lockers, 4.00:1 T-case and sway bar disco. Some of these trails could be done stock I guess but you would drag everything underneath it. Some 35's and a 2.5" would be about right. Better have your game face on for Huckleberry though.

The JT is give and take. The wheelbase makes it ride so good and being able to have a bed and carry all the gear is great for camping, But the wheelbase kills the breakover and the overhang behind the wheels drags like an anchor. Wheeling this thing far from home is making me a much smoother driver and making me study my lines harder. No cable was pulled on this trip.
