I have considered bolting my plate to the ARB skid plate. But I think all I would do is make rusty holes and still get a ticket from a grumpy meter maid. But what you have described is definitely and option. Thanks!I am using the Maximus 3 Stealth license plate bracket. It puts the plate at a slant and out of the way. it is a super sturdy bracket and mounts to a straight line of 3 of the existing torx screws between the steel bumper and sway bar motor skid plate. I have done rock crawling, badges of honor, and winching with it. It is always out of the way. It is not cheap, but, I highly recommend it if your bumper is correct for it.

In my original question I specifically mention that I have a Factor 55 Pro Link E. I also included a self depreciating description and included a picture. A fairlead mount (assuming you mean a fold down style mount?) doesn't work for me because most fold down in a way that doesn't accommodate the protrusion from a Pro Link E. That is why I was asking. Am I missing something? You have a winch...Fairlead mount, done.
The fair lead mounted cascadia 4x4 I suggested has plenty of clearance for factor 55. I have a factor 55 hook. It’s a perfect install. In my original question I specifically mention that I have a Factor 55 Pro Link E. I also included a self depreciating description and included a picture. I checked this out - very cool idea designed specifically for my problem. Thanks for finding!I have the Agency6 fairlead plate mount combo. It’s super easy to put on or take off, not that you would have to.

I haven’t put the plate mount on but haven’t gotten any attention from Mr Officer here in Illinois.

Thanks - I did take a look at that. I appreciate the find thankyou! The fair lead mounted cascadia 4x4 I suggested has plenty of clearance for factor 55. I have a factor 55 hook. It’s a perfect install.
Any time. Not the cheapest, but quite clean and needs no tools to move for winching. The hinge is tensioned so it lifts to any angle and stays there. Thanks - I did take a look at that. I appreciate the find thankyou!
I have a hawse as well. I got this one instead; works like a charm. When I still had my roller fairlead I used the quadratec clip on plate mount.
Now that I have a hawse, I am thinking of this type

They are 7” from an Aussie company called Stedi. Great quality and amazing output and beam spread for the price. Quality wiring harness too. Not sure if they ship overseas, but worth a look. Thanks - would you give me info about your spotties?
