Front pass. side, what is this thing?

Anyone know what this bracket is for (2022 Rubicon, diesel)? It's just outboard of the pass. side front control arm bracket. Looking at a friend's 2021 rubicon diesel, it was absent.

Mine has that too. 2022 Mojave 3.6. No idea. Subscribed though, because I'm curious as well. Seems like a low point, but I'm not too concerned since it's right behind the wheel.

Think there is about 3 or 4 threads on this already. Jeep just started putting this piece on. It to keep the tire from coming back into the body during a crash. My JTRD built 2/17/22 doesn't have it.

What's your build date? You can find it on driver side door sill, silver sticker. Mine built in May 2022 obviously does have it.
