No inverter due to Jeep deleting it

Does anyone have a part list for adding a factory inverter to the back seat? Mine was not included, rather it says it was DELETED.

With a minimal amount of credit I’m sure, and yea there are some on here who have added it. Mine came with it and it’s of decent value. I use it to run my traiger grill a few times on the tailgate

I just wanted to remind you all, my rig came with NO inverter or plugs for anything.

I did find parts for the bed, but NOT the interior.

Crap, I didn't look under DIY.

Did you order the truck, or was it one the dealer ordered for inventory?

If they did a factory delete, the inverter may not be available to order for a while.

I cancelled an order for a Wrangler Sahara, and bought a Gladiator that was DEALER ordered. The only option I didn't get, was the damn 110Vac plug...for a fridge. Ha! Kinda figures...

You may be able to add it on your own. The inverter is not one of the items designed to be added by the dealer. It mounts under the steering wheel, and the wiring may not be there, depending on whether the delete was done at the beginning of the build process or add the end due to lack of parts.

They will likely be available again. They are just deleting them now, except for customer orders, due to parts shortages.

The wiring may not be there due to Jeeps build process. The wiring harness is modified and laid out at the beginning based on the options ordered. If the inverter delete was decided at the beginning, the inverter specific wiring would have been omitted. If it was a decision later on, the wiring may be there to just plug one in when it's available.

The factory inverter is only 400 watts. Since you have the capability, you will probably be happier adding something with more capacity.

I understand. I prefer the factory look. Mine came with the inverter, and I have started using it for a travel fridge. Other than charging a laptop a few times, it hasn't been used for the three years I've had the truck.

Since Overland comes with that inverter and inside outlet by default, it's likely the factory didn't have the parts. It's not an option you can choose to get or not get, Overland comes with it standard, so High Altitude should also come with it by default since it's a higher level of Overland.
