Better yet, we'll have endless posts of people bitching about key fob size... talk about waste of time. Wear shorts/pants meant for men and you'll be fine.

@Gatorized Did you use Jeep's gas cap solution to jerry rig your own? Lol.
Never in a pocket, key can't flip out, always handy, can press a button without looking.

Quality looking holder there. But I can’t help but think how it makes an unnecessarily large key fob just that much larger. But I shouldn’t be one to talk, my solution isn’t much smaller. ;)

If the it was on the passenger side I would not own a gladiator… anyone that puts a fuel door on the passenger side of an American automobile should be drawn and quartered!!! Just what I want to do is get out walk to the other side of my truck to fill it then walk back around to drive away. Fucking retarded! “Not intended to insult you just engineers who place fuel doors on the passenger side.”
but more to the point I have no issues filling mine I also am right handed…
Yeah the right side sucks. I know a “friend”
(?lol) that puts the nozzle in, locks it open then goes inside to buy whatever and his truck is filled when he comes out.
A couple of times someone has talked to this “friend” when he came back to his vehicle and he forgot about the nozzle still in and drove off ripping the hose out of the quick connect on the pump.

I never realized this was even an issue. ?‍♂ However, I feel like now that I know, I'm going to be super conscious of it and end up actually scratching my hand. Then I'll be ticked off and forever regret reading this thread. ? I need one of those Men In Black memory erasers.

Trucks are always on the left. Passenger vehicles “cars” are on the right. On the right for cars because if you need to fill fuel on a roadway you will not get struck by traffic. Still doesn’t explain why trucks gas fills are on the left.
Uh, no. All of our cars & minivans have been on the left.

My one complaint with my gladiator is the fuel door. I am not sure why they couldn't find a way to make the door open at least 90 degrees or even better at 110-120. With the door opening towards the driver's door and opening about 80 degrees, the latch scrapes my hand every time.

I have tried to find an aftermarket solution to replace the fuel door with one that opens wider or with a latching system that does not have a giant hook to positioned in the worst spot, however, I can not seem to find anything on these forums or google. The only solutions I have found are for locking caps.

Am I the only one that hates this fuel door? Does anyone have a solution other than just being annoyed by it all the time?

If my Willys JT ever comes in (built but keeps getting delayed in shipping by another few days according to the dealer), the first thing I’ll probably do is fill it up and “accidentally/on purpose” scrape my hand ? because I’ll be so distracted that it actually arrived!

Sorry, had to vent about the wait (ordered 11-16-22).
