So I stopped off at the dealership for my first free oil change and tire rotation for my 23 Willys Diesel that I bought new in April. Was just told there is a recall to inspect the fuel lines. I can't find anything online about this. Has anyone here run into this or heard anything? They told me it is too involved to do it today and will have to schedule a time for it.

They may be referring to the hpfp recall. But dealerships should have already performed that recall before they could sell the vehicle.

The build date for my JT was December 2023 and was never listed for the HPFP recall, I assumed it was built with the new pump. The Jeep app has always reported no recalls for it.

Ok, just confirmed the recall they are talking about is the software update associated with the hpfp recall. Also, since the fuel filter is supposed to be changed along with an oil change, is it not covered for the 2 free oil changes? Was just told it was not and is a $125 for it. 8 can just do that myself a lot cheaper.

Did they happen to mention what the software version was? There's been conflicting information regarding a software update associated with the HPFP recall -- some get flashed, others don't.

The fuel filter has never explicitly nor implicitly been included with the Jeep Wave free oil changes, but it couldn't hurt to try to argue it should be considering it's now required every oil change. At least one person so far has reported they did get the fuel filter change included with their free oil change.

They didn't mention the version number. It's running fine so I may skip it. For fuel filters, what are some good brands I can find on Amazon?

125.00 sounds very low for the dealer to supply and install. I purchase filters from Doc’s. Also fuel filter interval is every 8k with biodiesel and they are not wanting you to run anything over B5. I found an addendum in the glove box. I am changing oil every 5k but thinking of doing it every 4K and fuel filter every other change just to make it easier on me.

I'm at 4500 and the sticker they put on the windshield showed the next change at 9500, I'll just do it then.

If anyone knows that there is, a "new" pump, and what it is please tell us all. I am a doubter on that.
