That's what I'm saying, it does not say that like yours. Looks like I'll call them, thank you for the response.

Not certain about this...but once you get the control number...can you purchase 2 vehicles with it?

You're entitled to 2 control numbers in any given calendar year, so you are limited to 2 FCA car purchases per year. However, if you qualify for Affiliate Rewards through another partner, you could theoretically get 2 more.

My company has an affiliate discount with Jeep. Can I combine that with a tread lightly discount or are they the same thing really?

They are the same thing. Not stackable. They are all classified as "Affiliate Rewards."

i'm a total moron and never figured i might actually be buying a JT before June 2019.....I just signed up with Tread Lightly today. I know others have gotten their tread lightly letter in 10-14 days.

Tread lightly says FCA won't give you the discount unless you've been a tread lightly member for 30 days. When does the clock start? Once you have your control number, do you get the discount, regardless of the number of days you've been a member?

Seriously people, if you think you MIGHT buy a JT, just go and do the membership.

This is me with smelly pooh on my head cuz I waited 17 months to do this and now I might not have it in time, lmao. :asshat::asshat::asshat:

It should be fine, effen steffen, as you don't need the AR control number until you actually pick up the vehicle. So, unless you're buying off of the lot, you should have plenty of time. (You're not actually buying off of the lot, are you?)
When you get the control number is actually irrelevant, as your dealer will have to verify it with FCA, and that's what counts. Anyone can go the the AR website and print out a certificate from any affiliate. This is why they have the verification process. So, with Tread Lightly, if you're not a member for 30 days, your AR cert may get denied.

Eeek, well we'll play it by ear. I'm about to post the longest thread in the history of our forum explaining my whole life story..... Lol

Yes I may buy off the lot.

if you don't find the hard truth about this, i would just pay it again. its $100 to a good cause, and you wouldn't want to miss out on thousands because it lapsed.

Does your membership card have an expiration date on it?

If it does, I’d renew it.

The dealer is supposed to verify your membership is active at the time of the vehicle purchase...It’s worth $100 (or whatever the renewal fee is) to ensure you get the FCA Affiliate price.

I've got a question for those of you who've actually completed a purchase with Tread Lightly (even on another vehicle). What info has to match between TL and your order along the way?

Understand Full Legal Name/DOB need to match to get into https://www.fcausaffiliates.com to get a CN. Then it asks you for an address. Does this address need to match TL, the order, or do all 3 need to match?

I'm guessing the address you enter for the CN needs to match the order when you pick the vehicle up, and doesn't need to match TL (since at that point FCA doesn't care if you are using TL or any other affiliate program).

I've hit 30 days with TL so I can get my CN now (not a rush since Granite LEs are still several months out for arrival). When I signed up for TL, I used my CA mailing address. When I ordered my JT, I used my OR street address. I guess I have time to do a change of address with TL if needed...

i asked, "Is it 30 days from today, or 30 days from when I get my membership letter?"

she said, "30 days starting from the date you sign up. "
