WTF are you hauling something? If you smell your exhaust do you think you're running rich? You may want to take it to the dealer if you aren't in manual all the time and just revving it as high as it can each gear. You're getting literally half (just a bit over) what you should be getting highway.

Not hauling anything. I drive like a grandpa.
I think the problem is that by the time I get to 8th and 55 mph it's time for another red light. I try and coast as much as possible too.

I'm still getting 17.2 MPGs in my max tow with stock 4.10 gears on 37 12.5 17 Kanati trail Hogs. Just got 18 over the weekend on a day trip to and from the beach. If you only getting 13.3 you got some issues going on somewhere.

My JTR was getting 13.3 as well with 37's and 4.10 gears. I was getting 15.8 MPG stock wheels and tires. I re-geared to 5.13's and now I average around 16.5 MPG at a Mile High a mix of local and highway driving. I needed to regear to move all the extra weight of the 20 wheels and 37" tires, the power is restored, it shifts properly, and it's getting better MPG's than stock.

Average low to mid 18s.

Drive speed limit pretty regularly. I don't race lights.

80 total mile daily commute mainly state highway and interstate.

I was getting upper 19s for Average when it was stock.

There is something wrong if your MPGs is that low. I haven't saw under 16 since going to 37's and that was only because I was doing a lot of idling and the wife never turns it off when she drives and I run in somewhere to grab something. Mine are 37 12.5 17's not 20's so maybe that's the difference and I am running stock wheels as well. Could be the weight of your tire and wheel combo. I get 17.2 to 17.5 mostly.

I've got a stock 80th JT and average around 19 mpg on my normal driving, mostly city with a little highway (55-60 mph) roads. Best so far was 24 mpg on a trip up that was all interstate and cruise control.

This is about what I see on my stock Sport S w/Max Tow. City driving will plummet your MPG but my average in the warmer months is between 21.5 and 22.5. I also try not to idle, coast when I can, and I stay around 2k RPM when speeding up (higher on highway or when I feel it's necessary).

Mine will drop to probably about 17.5 in the winter because of the hollow gas mixture and as soon as it gets away from being warm my start/stop doesn't work anymore (I assume the battery drains easily in the cooler weather) so I have to idle. I don't do much in the way of warming my truck up to leave either. I'm a bit cold for a minute or 2 but then the heat kicks in just fine and all is well.

I just regeared to 513's and my mileage stayed exactly the same oddly running 37's! Drivability is obviously MUCH better, but mpg remained the same.
When I regeared our JLUR on 37's, it picked up 3mpg over 410s.

2020 Sport S automatic
Stock for all intents and purposes that would relate to fuel mileage. I live in a rural area and drive around 15 miles each way to work, but that drive does cross two school zones so it's sometimes stop and go. I only drive highway on road trips.

Total miles tracked: 14912 from 47 fuel ups
Average MPG: 20.0
Best MPG: 24.0 (this was a 9 hour drive from OBX > home last week)

I'm putting on wheels & 285/70/17 KO2's tomorrow so I am curious to see how it will impact fuel mileage

Update - after putting new wheels and tires on my otherwise stock Sport S:
Total miles tracked: 1912
Total fuel volume from 6 fill-ups: 101.983
Average MPG: 18.75

First thing I always look at in these threads, is location of user.
I bought my JTR in Alabama with 6k miles, and it was averaging over 18mpg. By the time I got it home to WV, that went to 14.5-15. Then I learned how to get the best out of it, and am up around 16.5-17 now. That being said, yall flat landers always have the best mpgs to report! lol

With Deeper gears it makes it easier to turn the tires & therefore I would expect you to pick up some MPG's. I would double check that your tire size is set correctly on the computer and that the gear ratio is programmed in properly with the Tazer Mini JL. On the tire size I wouldn't go by what's on the tire I'd actually measure them from the ground to the top of the tire using a level and use that measurement. I had to re-program my tire size twice into the Tazer Mini JL since apparently mine didn't take the first time or reverted somehow so the Tazer can be glitchy at times.

I had a gain on my 2021 JTR with 5.13s of about 3MPG which is consistent with your experience on the JLUR, so not sure why yours would be different?

I suspect you may have found the reason. Accelerating this mass then at speed its wind resistance. Then all that energy tossed for braking. I have never understood our DOTs inability to synchronize lights on high traffic roads.

I honestly think that's the issue. Drove home from the gas station, 18+, drove back up that same route to Walmart this morning. 18. Back around home with all the short drives and highway red lights down to 16 already. What's funny is the power was out and there were no lights. Could have gotten used to it haha!

This was my last road trip from Colorado Springs where I live to Steamboat Springs. Elevations varied from 6,000 to over 10,000 feet. Almost 26 mpg over 430 miles. Flat land can be good because you don’t have to move your foot on the pedal much but the computer will compensate for high altitude by cutting back fuel.
