The JT?Loving your set-up! I need details! Where’d you get it? What are the specs? I’d like to do something very similar myself. Any info you can share would be very much appreciated.
Yes, the trailer. What did you use as a base? What is it made of? I’d love to see more. The trailer?
I made it.
Welded a Heavy Duty HF trailer, but kept the bolts as backup. Added a 2x2 "spine" to stiffen it, which actually forms the tongue on the front and hitch on the back. Swapped to new a 3500lb axle. Truck bed coated all.Yes, the trailer. What did you use as a base? What is it made of? I’d love to see more.
I would like to do exactly what you’ve done! Love it!Welded a Heavy Duty HF trailer, but kept the bolts as backup. Added a 2x2 "spine" to stiffen it, which actually forms the tongue on the front and hitch on the back. Swapped to new a 3500lb axle. Truck bed coated all.
Upper portion is 2x10's. I wanted a very strong trailer. Roof is made to be easily removed, if objects over 37" tall need to be carried. Made the slideout tray of Âľ" plywood and used fixed HF 2" casters to make it glide in and out. 2" backspace wheels with 235/75/15 Goodyear Wranglers. Added roof basket. Have other things to add (100AH AGM battery, solar, gas cans, etc)
Interior dimensions are 37" tall, 43" wide, and 93" long.
I have no illusions that this has any real off road capability, but it carries everything to the base camp we could ever need. I have taken it up some beat up trails, but nothing that I had any trepidation about. It's overbought, not light at all, and looks good from 10 feet. Best of all, it was cheap to make.

Looks great. How did you do it? Just pop them out and shoot with mopar gator spray paint?Color matched dash installed.
More or less. They don't pop out, but they're not too difficult to remove. I did use the Mopar spray paint, but they are small cans and not cheap. If I knew then what I know now, I just have the local auto body supply mix me a can of matching spray paint. Then I used a matt clear coat because I didn't want a glossy finish.Looks great. How did you do it? Just pop them out and shoot with mopar gator spray paint?
