Now with the option for Gobi and Gator + Dark Saddle Brown interior, I am sold!

I posted this already in a general thread about colors. Often jeeps have the same colors as Dodges but other a different name. For example Stinger gray is the same thing as destroyer grey on a Dodge. I suspect that this new gator color is the same as another color by dodge called F8 green. It hard to tell by the computer rendurings because they rarely show the true color and shading.

I honestly don't care what it ends up looking like this is the color for me! I am very happy to see a non metallic, not bright (no offense to Mojito fans it looks nice but it just is not the color for me) green and what I see on the Jeep site looks great to me.

Man if it’s F8 green I’m sold. I was. Really hoping for a dark green with a tan interior and tan top. But so far looks like no tan for the Rubicon ( only a tan cloth on the sport) and no tan top like the JL. Hoping these change by release.

This would be my color if I decide to pull the trigger. I think I'd go with a black hard top and tan interior.

When I look at it on the Jeep configurator it looks definitely looks non-metallic, like a flat, dark olive green.

I agree that this would look great with a tan interior though. I'm curious about the full tan soft top as well.

Do you guys think it could be close to Commando Green?
In the sun it is green but in non sunny environments it gets browner.

Mmmm…. I might change my color plans to Gobi. I'm going to need to see Gator in person. Check out the jeepinformant video with the gator color touch-up paint.
