Start scouting the for sale section here for a take off axle for much cheaper then oem new.

Best of luck to you on this, to many what if's and who did's on this. Be ready to replacement axle cost.. Proving who or how said bolt wasn't tighten or removed is going to be a bitch. No sugar coating. Especially with a gear swap and not knowing/ following gear break-in. Might be time for price checking Mopar axle with 4:88 vs aftermarket one.
The repairs will definitely be MOPAR with warranty going forward. I will soon find out how good my relationship with the selling dealer is. This was my third substantial purchase from them in 2 years.

I appreciate your good wishes, and also I appreciate everbody who has chimed in so far to give me a set of brains on this mod.

I think I know but I'm trying to confirm. The work was done 10/1/21 at 43 miles. I bought the truck in Feb at 91 miles. The ear end said goodbye at 339 miles.
If you are at the Dealer that sold you the gladiator, surely this has to be under warranty.
It's only been 44 days at most, and that's if you purchased it on Feb 1.

Good luck with everything on this. I'm curious how the dealer ended up with a used Gladiator with only 91 miles on it. It feels like there's more story they aren't telling you.

Update- local dealer will repair good as new using MOPAR parts.

Selling dealer- wants me to send documentation once all work is done, including diagnosis as to what caused all this, and they will review

Just thought I would bring this thread to current. I finally picked up my truck on May 6 after towing it to the dealer on March 11. The repairing dealer did not sell me this Gladiator. Biggest repair item was rear axle assembly. They diagnosed it as "found no oil in the rear differential. Oil leak was caused by a missing bolt that holds the electric locker wire plug into the rear end. The missing bolt allowed the plug to back out and oil leaked from the hole. Damage to rear differential and axle housing. Rear axle assembly needs to be replaced." Ouch. $$$$$.

I have emailed the selling dealer requesting reimbursement. No determination yet.
