If you've ever looked at 37s, you will regret buying 35s. I went through this on my JKR 2dr with 33s and 35s and vowed not to make the same mistake ever again.

Buy once, cry once.
I guess cost is a factor, but I really want to be able to completely flex this Metalcloak lift to it's max without rubbing, hence my decision to go with 35's. Will 37's rub fully stuffed?

Cost may be a factor, but trust me, he's not wrong... I've made that mistake in the past on other vehicles. I learned to ALWAYS stuff as much tire as you can safely clear and still have room to flex. That's why I'm stuffing 37's with a 2.5" lift on my JTR.

These are at full-flex with the current 2.5 spacer lift setup. I should get plenty more with the Evo Enforcer 2.5" Stage 2 Plus lift that i'm fixing to put on there. Already got the lift, just waiting on the time...

Oh man... That doesn't look too bad. And I'm sure with 3 1/2" there should be a little more clearance, but I have a sport, so my fenders could possibly take a beating. I haven't ordered anything yet, but maybe I'll look at going with 37's anyway.
Thanks for taking the time to send me the pictures.

I have the ICON 2.5” stage one lift. On their recommendation, I purchased the extended bump stops to prevent the 37” from contacting the fenders at full stuff.

Hi all,
so everything I have read so far, id feel comfortable running 37's on 4:10 gears (also plans to add magnuson supercharger anyway). however have any of you towed anything with the 37"s and 4:10? how is that performance?
one last question: has anyone fit a Falken MT 37 under the truck?

I towed my 5,000lb travel trailer with 4.10s and it was ok but really struggled on hills. 4.88s make it much better.

Same sentiments, but with 6500lbs. Does it get the job done? Sure. Could it be better with 4.88s? I’m certain of it.

thanks, I don't tow often just like having the ability to do so when I need to, like a uhaul trailer utility trailer ect. I don't have a camper or anything. all my hunting, camping ect, is with a ground tent, so I just pack everything in the truck. sounds like having the 4:10's wont be to bad. maybe tow 5 to 6 times a year mostly short trips

That was my experience on 4.10s too.
I shared a video with my thoughts to our YouTube page about the gears.

Here if you want to check it out.
Can’t give you suggestions on anything as you failed to provide adequate data! You state you have a JK sport with 3.73 and 35s.

What engine? What transmission? What are your intended uses? What type of terrain do you wheel/DD in.? Do you wheel, tow....
Nice vid!! Thanks for the knowledge. Any off roading with the 410’s & the 37’s? How’d it handle with the gears?

If you want to get it going in a hurry the engine will just rev at high RPM and kind of do nothing without a regear. That's been my experience of course I didn't reprogram for the tires when this occurred and I have since. Other than that it hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, if you get the wheels rolling along first it's ok. That being said 4.10's for 37's isn't enough probably would be ok for 35's, I'm going to 5.13 gearing. You need the deeper gears to get the additional weight and mass rolling. I also added 20" rims which adds weight. I also plan swapping out to heavier bumpers later etc. so 5.13's were the way to go IMO. It was recommended by Trail Jeeps who will be doing my lift next month and gears, they only work on Jeeps and seem to know what they are doing. They also mentioned that I would probably have to swap out the steering box soon to a larger version since they've been having customers come in with stock steering boxes that are burned out with the larger tires. It seems that once you go to larger tires you kind of get larger issues and larger expense.

Looking at gearing closely also and comparing to my current JKUR with 4.10’s. With 315/70r17 KO2’s, it struggles to stay in 5th gear at highway speeds (75mph) which is .83 ratio.

7th gear on JT is .84 ratio so almost same. Same engine basically. So those of you with 37’s on JT with 410’s it may drive ok, but do you ever actually see 8th gear get used? Maybe down hills? So it becomes more like a 6 or 7 speed auto, not bad I suppose.

Makes me wonder if paying for Max Tow for 4.10ks is such a good idea or better to just go Sport S without Max Tow and immediately put the money saved towards a regear to 4.88’s if one wants 35’s or 37’s. Maybe I’m wrong and comparing apples to oranges?
Right now…My set up is stock Rubi .410s with 35” Wildpeaks…I see 8th gear all day long..Arizona Mts.
